Got back from my local game store, and noooooo they said they probably won't have TR until the 6th or so. :/ At least they will call me when it arrives so I will be able to get ASAP.:p

Here's hoping the game will arrive early :pi:

I got Anniversary like 2 days early from Gamecrazy... which was at the time, a subsidiary of Blockbuster... they arent around anymore...

Basically, I think the idea is, to find a small retailer that would be too careless to realize that they shouldnt sell it to you until the 3/5..

Im not gunna waste my time.. but hey, hit the phones... who knows...

How are you guys going to play the game? Will you first follow the main story without paying much attention to side stuff and then you will look for challenges, relics and hidden tombs on a second playthrough or will you do both at the same time?

I'll try to play the game as much as possible without being paranoiac about challenges. Like if i find a challenge randomly i will try to complete it!

I wanna stretch out the experience as much as I can... So I plan on going back whenever it applies, and try to find most of the side quest stuff before I beat the actual game...

Could anybody explain me the difference between Pal and NBSC, because i'm planning to move to the USA and I wouldn't like to sell my european consoles for american ones.

Too many people in this forum "play" the game by clicking on the play button on youtube...:pi:

I tend to be scrounge around looking for all nooks and crannies when i start a play session, but taper off and move towards a more linear approach as i get tired and just go back and look for things i miss when i start playing again later.

PAL and NTSC equipment operate at different framerates and resolution, so you won't be able to play PAL formatted analog content on an NTSC television. I'm not entirely sure how it applies to digital content like stuff through HDMI and whatnot, though.

Also another part of the game I played was where Lara gets the first pick axe in the game, and that I like that you use the axe to open certain things such as doors. Also I did the seen where Lara kills the deer, and love the fact she was apologising to the animal, but we all know she had to do it for her survival. Well I don't know what else to put apart from some links to images of goodies they gave use while we was there. Also in advance I apologise for the quality of the images, due to the fact the only camera I own is my 3DS.

"Monday Night" implies 0035 Tuesday morning, since it would be 0035 Monday MORNING otherwise, i think. It sort of makes sense since Tuesdays are release days.

I suspect they'll be showing all the Final Hours footage they've previously released as well as the final one as one giant episode.

Well, judging by your post count you haven't been here for a long time so how would you know? In fact it's the exact opposite of what you said :p !

I'll propably try and find as much collectibles as I can in my first playthrough but I'll propably miss a thing or two so there'll be something for me to find after I beat the game.

I think that most games are region-locked, at least that's what I've heared. So you propably won't be able ti play them after you leave Europe. But I'm still not sure, you should propably look it up. As for the TV I don't know, I guess you shouldn't have a problem?

@ the last few posts: That is why the reviews are ****. Only gamer's own opinion formed after watching/listening/finally playing matters for oneself. Either you like the game (as a TR game, because this is what we all are here for), or not.

I have formed my opinion long ago... and the latest bits of information rather confirm it than not.

But in all seriousness, I really can't stand it with all the negativity around here, whether it be careless people posting spoilers or people jumping to conclusions based on a video, among other things. This section's in a particularly ugly state today... moreso than usual. :/

While I do believe people are entitled to their opinion... there's just been a lot of rude behavior lately. :/

The thing that I most hated is that the #2 post on every NeoGAF thread is about 'protect' jokes. Like review thread, a guy wrote "I will protect Lara from the reviews". :o
