Community management is definitely part of the marketing plan but remember, Crystal didn't have a community manager until a year ago. The gaps between news releases/game releases should be filled with community goodies to keep everyone happy. Can't wait to get in as a CM somewhere - have lots of ideas!

E3 isn't far off now :)

Why? They handled the ducati and jeep stuff in TRL well, and I don't remember any other product placement.

Well, those were fitting because we always knew Lara was a vehicle lover. Mostly motorcycles, so Ducati was moer fitting than Jeep. But... What now? She's young and stranded in an island, and I don't want to see a Beats by Dr.Dre logo somewhere. I really don't.

I just don't see Coca Cola really putting much money into something that may go unnoticed in the game. I'm sure they'd prefer a big billboard or a message during the loading screens saying "Go grab a can of Coke while you wait!". :vlol:

There are items on the island that are real, like the can of beans, and the peanut-butter. If you look at the pictures from the den, the objects around her are items with real brand names on them. This was also discussed in a podcast, if I remember correctly.
