Hi, just to make a bug report, the Crawl Tilting feature does not get disabled when turned off. Personally I wouldn't play the game without Crawl Tilting because once you try it, it’s hard to go back. It's a great feature but I thought you might like to know :o

I have a question. Does this also fix the crash that occurs in the Temple of Horus level that happens during challenge runs like NLNM for example, or glitchless speedruns? I know modified games are not valid for such runs, but I am just curious.

In any case, thanks for making my favorite TR even better!

I came across a bug: in Trenches, the door you need to open to go to Street Bazaar won't open as you shoot it with the Crowbow, or with the Revolver.

On my PC, if I accidentally press the Windows key while running Last Revelation the whole game freezes up, but I can't close it or select anything with Task Manager. This means I have to restart the computer, and given the Windows key's location between Action and Jump, this happens A LOT.

I was wondering if you'd be able to disable the key while the game is running? Or at the very least have it respond a bit better to suddenly being closed while in fullscreen? Borderless window function perhaps? :D

Interesting! I use Alt+TAB, and/or the Windows Key quite alot for tomb4.exe games (various aged trles and original tr4) to double back to my browser for walkthroughs, and even like yourself, hitting windowskey it by accident. I'd suggest googling how to stop game hanging in these situations, as it's more than likely a setting in your OS that can sort it out. I dont use any "compatibility settings" on these, but I always run the exe as Administrator, which may help!

Hello everyone :) just want to say thank you everyone for the feedback and requests. I've been overwhelmed with stuff recently and just hadn't had the time to answer here, but I promise, I'm reading :)

an update will be released with some bug fixes, we've waited so far on purpose so we can find as many bugs as possible. decompilation remains a long and tedious process at times and is very error prone. I'd say it's even a good achievement that it's only a few bugs.
I've found and fixed the bug with the crossbow not hitting stuff, this was the most game breaking one, but I promise, next release will have it fixed :)
There were also a few bugs with the way the motorbike collides with walls, and another bug where the motorbike wouldn't explode if you fall down a pit sometimes :p and a bunch of small bugs here and there. it's all fixed now though :) details will be in the changelog when the release is out

I'm having trouble with the flame puzzle before you play the game. The flames shoot very fast and I can't get a chance to do anything. Also the flames seem to be shooting out of order for some reason. Level is impossible to beat because they don't turn off or go in sequence like they are supposed to.

clean install of game from steam
running at 1080p,
using dgvoodoo or not doesn't make difference either, i removed it just incase it was the cause but still was the same
also started a clean save too just incase

Omg, just found the issue, its volumetric fog option, when enabled the bug happens, i turned it off and the color stays perfect

Also, IIRC, in TR5 you fixed the bug that has Lara sinking half her body into the crowbar door when she opens it. So, I am wondering if something similar could be done with these switches in Underneath the Sphinx where she sinks half her body into the switch:

Hey Troye, I've started playing Last Revelation with tomb4 and have noted a few bugs worth investigating:
[LIST][*]During the tutorial levels, there are a number of times when Werner should turn around and gesture at Lara to approach him, but this animation doesn't happen. The first time this gesture should happen is at the very [URL="https://i.imgur.com/UDSZYYg.png"]beginning[/URL].[*]In Tomb of Seth, when the guide sets fire to the last torch in the rocky cavern, he starts walking around in circles. I've included a save file for this part on my [URL="https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zRSDUjhGfiREdSVFgmyq5rtwP41lUlXZ?usp=sharing"]shared google folder[/URL] in case you need it. Unfortunately I can't progress without the guide so I needed to download a save file from Stella's website to bypass this point :o[*]The scorpions that spawn in [URL="https://i.imgur.com/nN2wV2Z.png"]this room[/URL] also move in circles.[/LIST]

Awesome update, great work as always!

Would it be possible to add an option to mimic the Sega Dreamcasts fog effects? in a lot of places, the fog on the Dreamcast's version is more brown and dusty looking and it seems a lot more appropriate in general. I think an option could be added to switch between vanilla PC and Dreamcast fog. Speaking of Dreamcast features, maybe a full body shadow option could be implemented.

I also noticed that the PSX bar option doesn't put the bars in the same place as tomb5. They are more to the left. Maybe you could make them more consistent with tomb5? Also maybe the loading bar could be made thinner and less wide to be more like the TR5 loading bar? I also think that an option to add the TR5 camera style would be a nice addition too. And maybe an option to replace the PSX memory cards with floppy disks, like in TR5.

Other than those few things, I'd really love to see full Xinput controller support with button prompts like TR2Main, and also an option to replace the current low res font with a higher resolution font. There is a mod available on the CoreDesign website that only works with Peixoto's patch, but I can't link it or my post will be removed again. Maybe a way to use that font without using Peixoto's patch could be implemented?

hi, fog color can be changed surely :]
Dreamcast shadows are not possible at the current stage, and possibly ever. they would require a massive overhaul of the renderer if we want to do actual shadows, which isn't gonna happen any time soon, if ever
Dreamcast does the shadows in a very cheap way, you can see it lacks joints, and is actually a slightly modified TR1 Lara model.
so, dreamcast shadows are out of the question, for the time being.
PSX bars are meant to be in line with the PSX version, not tomb5. tomb5 is getting an update that moves them a little to the left, too, like PSX.
I'll look into having the thin loading bar, but it's not guaranteed.
TR5 camera is definitely coming
"PSX memory cards with floppy disks" is not possible as the objects are not present in the level files
Xinput controller support [B]may[/B] happen, but button prompts won't.
font editing isn't possible at the moment either. everything about the font is strictly hardcoded.

also there will be a slow down on big new features for the time being, we want to focus on decompiling and bug fixing before rushing anything :)

Not sure if this counts as a bug or a "big feature" but it's another request...

In the level Inside the Great Pyramid, after Lara places all 4 star shaft keys to activate the 4 blue light beams, there is an explosion effect that happens. After triggering this, if you save and reload through the rest of the level, the explosion effect always happens again and again. This is even common in TRLE levels that use this effect. I was just wondering if it is possible to fix this in any way so it doesn't keep repeating?

I think I just encountered a bug:

In Hypostyle Hall, after aligning the 3 obelisk switches, Lara refuses to pull the chain. She just says "No". I've double checked a few times to make sure the obelisks are in the correct position, and saved and reloaded, and she still just says "No"...
