Well, as they said we'll see the gameplay trailer in early 2012 and E3 is in June, it would make sense to show the trailer at GDC, wouldn't it? But then again, they don't need any event to release the trailer...

But an event where people sometimes expect to hear of more media would help boost attention for a possible trailer.

Do trailers often get revealed at GDC anyways? :/

I think someone mentioned there were some trailers (not TR though) revealed at GDC back then.

Hopefully I found the correct link. apparently yes they do. Along with previews and reveals.

If there really is no event between GDC and E3, then I would expect the gameplay trailer to be revealed in the next few days. They said early 2012 - it is now. There is going to be an event - GDC. E3 is in June, which is not early 2012. So, let's wait and see...

and then be disappointed if they show nothing

It really is the highest time. But then again as you LF25 (or someone else? IDK) said, developers usually make gameplay trailers when the game is polished or at least in beta stage, which TR probably is not yet. I'm confused...I don't really know.

At least let us see the full night hub demo officially, in HD.
