If they get the physics right this time I would defiantly take the ponytail above the braid even though I like the braid.

The classic braid is an outdated hairstyle, especially for a character set in modern times. I liked hermione's braid in the deathly hallows game, especially the way it fell down at the front. But I agree with you about the physics, they have yet to impress me with that.
