Because old Lara had no real character and she never connected to the player on an emotional basis for the most part.

Plus that's not the only reason it was rebooted.

This was obviously a misunderstanding, but it just seemed like you were really upset about some font that isn't even going to be in the final game. Why would they keep Karl fingerprinted E3 in the game? :p
