Hubs or get out.
I need hubs now. Chris I need a hub. |
I can't right now!
|
Too busy with combat. :(
I just want to talk about... THE LEAKED NIGHT HUB. Because that thing is the best. Honestly it is so cute, the way it all looks as Lara is running up the stairs. It's like a beautiful painting. |

But seriously it's really awesome. I wanna see more ._. All this waiting is killing me >.> |
I wanna stand over Roth's unconcious body while I play.
|
Lol :pi:
|
I just want to traverse all the amazing monasteries and huts in the night hub. I want to climb the huge mountain up to the radio tower. I want that Night Hub right now.
|
I hope there is a hub that has as many monasteries and pagoda's as the Scavenger Stronghold has shacks. I want them to be waaay up in the sky, and I want there to be soo many ways of jumping around them and steering in mid air.
Flags to swing on, with the wind affecting traversal. HUBS. |
Ermahgerd u guize r killin me.
|
WAIT!
What if it gets harder and harder to find salvage to upgrade your tools? And there are...like, ropes with pieces of junk hanging from parts of buildings really high up, and you have to shoot them down or climb to them and get them? |

Hmmm... I'd like to be able to explore the ground waay below as well as the tops of the buildings. Maybe they'll be over a lake or large waterfall. |

I imagine the hub itself will not just be one giant sandbox the scale of underworld, but different heights and passages, etc...
Though I fo wonder what a hub is, as the area with the deer and the area with the wolves are both part of Coastal Forest but two different chunks. |
Sigh. They just need to show and define a hub space to me so I can lick them.
|
Egggsactly.
Even if they first do it in the form of...say the map. WOAH. **** ur pants. Woah. What if somehow we end up with a image of that map youy're supposed to get in one of the pre-order editions of the game!? D: That would spoil everything. BTW Am I the only one who thinks everyone's expectations are higher than the classics? I mean exploration-wise and sense of scale and freedom? Mine are, obviously as I want open world, but because of that I forgot that there may just be people who want the game to liveup to the larger environments from the classics, which I think will happen, I think the game will go beyond that. Which is nice. Though I can't say we'll have the same platforming freedom. |
Based on what they've said, my expectations are that we have "mini-open world" environments interconnected with small more linear paths. These hubs come in a specific order and we will revisit them a few times and be able to explore them fully using a set of rules that CD have made that hopefully make sense and are consistent. Each hub has several layers or levels. There will underground sections and segments that require us to go high in the mountains like the Parachute demo.

The parachute area, can hubs only be giant island craters? Or can they exist in the mountains, and the area below those same mountains, etc...? |
