Well Lara is an objects modeled in a 3D modelling program while Meagan and Camilla are real people. It's not a fair comparison.

This year Tomb Raider is released in a mere two months amongst a variety of hotly anticipated titles - Grand Theft Auto V, The Last of Us, Bioshock: Infinite, Devil May Cry, God of War: Ascension, Gears of War: Judgement, and many, many more - but how much do the public really want the game?

Entertainment website Digital Spy are running a poll asking a very simple question: What is your most anticipated game of 2013? The poll is still going but the results so far are, at least to many of us, rather positive. Actually, scrap that, incredibly positive.

Grand Theft Auto V obviously sits atop the throne of anticipation with more than 32% of the votes. Where does Tomb Raider come then, you cry. Second. And quite a good second with more than 14% of the votes. It is the only other game aside from Grand Theft Auto V which is in the double digits. Coming third is The Last of Us with more than 8% of the vote.

Well done Tomb Raider and Crystal Dynamics.

Being the second, behind GTA5, is almost better that to be first in this case.
When people can try the game and see what's new in one and other, perhaps the trend will change.
The best wine is not always the most popular a priori.
