I don't think so.
A spin-off, while has loose connections to the main games of the franchise, is different and therefore isn't rebooted, at least the way I see it. We could get both classic-like and modern Lara with the two titles. Best of both worlds.

They stated that LC series is a different series than Tomb Raider, so I see no problem having old Lara back in it. But it could confuse general public, I´m afraid. I mean, one would think that repeating "this is a complete reboot" for one year could be enough, yet many interviewers still ask if this game is a reboot.

I'm surprised a few of you think that. It's really not going to happen. And if it did by any chance then the old Lara would definatly not be present. Thats just ridiculous to even think she would be back just because its a spin off. Crystal said GoL was like their Pixar short.

Guys, when I pre-ordered the guide the other day I told the girl at Gamestop that I am a huge TR fan and that I collect TR stuff then she asked me if I wanted the cardboard standee of Lara after the game is released. She said she would put it aside for me so it doesn't get tossed out. :jmp:

Nice! There isn't much promo stuff at our store aside from the cardboard Lara, a few flyers, and a poster. Should see if I can get the poster too. :D
I didn't even expect it, she just asked why I was pre-ordering the game from Best Buy but the guide from them, and I explained how the comic was more important for my collection the she offered me the standee. It made me so happy. :yah:

Either way she seems like a sweet lady :). You should see if you can get the poster as well :D.
