Dont you know only geniuses play TR? :p seriously though games that evolve puzzle solving require more brains than your FPS. Ok so you have to think of tactics and strategy in games like COD but what percentage of players actually use them? In TR your forced to sometimes use your brain, not given the option too like other games.

I remember when i used to play Halo 3 in 07, people LITERALLY used to brainlessly run into each other to melee each other and somehow both end up flying the opposite direction dead LMAO.

Portal 2 is an excellent example in puzzle solving, honestly the best of its kind, so original and innovative.

CD don't really...force you...you have the option of a hint system in most of their games.

I think GDC is the event Katie (Katie Tomb Raider) raised money for so she could go. Meagan has said she's going also in a tweet. One can only assume Meagan is going as she works for CD (and could be TR related) unless it has something to do with cosplay somehow, which she does a lot of.

But thats up to you to use, less intelligent people generally tend to go for that option. Not saying im a genius i used them a lot as well but you know what i mean. doesnt change the fact that it requires more brains than other genre games.

There are hundreds maybe thousands of people who owns TR website, writes TR stories and makes TR videos. I don't see one proper reason why she should be an exception and have the privilege to join CD/SE at GDC and see stuff.

She's contributed a lot to the TR community, she's given away prizes and has helped me and other Tomb Raider fans countless times. I can't think of one reason NOT to invite her.

Why would she need to raise money to go to a convention (when she could go to E3 if she wanted to) if there wasn't going to be something in it for the fans? Just a thought.

But just because she is going to GDC doesn't mean she's with CD or it's a privilege from CD, it means she got herself there and because she is part of the TR community and a webmaster, they are excited to see her, or Meagan is.

Obviously they're there for recruiting... but they haven't said if they'll show anything. But you're right. They haven't confirmed or denied showing anything. CD are so confusing sometimes.

But it's more odd because in the podcast when they said "primary goal is recruiting" they leave a huge space of wonder with "primary goal" and then they even went on to confirm they would be showing content, but behind closed doors, at PAX.

The only possible thing that could happen and make sense in a CEE DEE kind of way, would be for them to say "Oh yeah, we meant showing content behind closed doors at GDC". :/
