Well, GT Retrospective Pt3 in entertaining me... It's 02:50am here and I should really be sleeping as that would make time fly! :)

So Gamestop's having a launch party at the Sunnyvale Gamestop and the Crystal Dynamics team is gonna be there, which is 20 minutes away from my house. The problem, however, is that I pre-paid my CE at the Gamestop in Oakridge Mall, which is 20 minutes away from my house... in the opposite direction. I'm so conflicted.... I want to meet the people at CD... I mean I lost the chance in December to meet them cause I was too shy, but now I don't know what to do. ;_;

Anyone else on PC had to look up buttons in the options menu to finish a qte? It's no big deal since I know them now but it's a little silly staring at "press [!]" and not knowing what the hell to press.

If Meagan was gonna be there, it'd be an instant go for me. I reeally want to meet her again. xD

Yeah I guess. I happen to have money I saved up to get another CE, so I could refund the one I was getting at the mall tomorrow (and get my money back), but it's already 7:37, and I'm running out of time. :(

Also, I think I may have screwed any chances of going as it is. I have school tomorrow so I have to wake up early, and my dad wasn't too pleased at the moment (and it was right when I was gonna ask him too. He also tends to say no these kinds of things. :hea: )

I've just downloaded these Latest 64bit nVidia drivers (314.14 released TODAY!)...
But still can't run the game on medium settings with TressFX...and not even on high settings with normal hair.

This are my specs:

Played for a good four hours...Anyone saying there is no exploration has some serious issue :vlol: I spent atleast 3 and a half hours just running around doing as I please let alone fighting anyone!

Finally got the shipping notification from Best Buy.
Can someone tell me why; with me living less than ten miles from a huge Best Buy distribution center by DFW airport in Texas. That my collectors' edition is being shipped from Louisville, Kentucky?
Stupid UPS. My game will probably get stolen (misdirected).

I stormed in at 8am this morning as the game shop nearby was opening up. One of my friends who works there assured me the game wasn't running away...:D
Then I came home :(. Internet was off untill now...(Crappy South African internet). My boyfriend is dreading the fact that I bought it...He knows I'm going to ignore him for the next week....:mis:


Aaaaah I can't believe we waited 5 friggin' years!!! At least there was TRLE, GOL and modding. :D

Mine came this morning - had about 20 minutes on it so far. First impressions are that the graphics are awesome... the sounds seems excessively loud for some reason, even after turning the music down, guess I'll try turning the FX down as well and see if that helps.

The only thing I don't like so far is the checkpoint save system, I hate those, as you can't save when and where you like, which is a bit inconvenient if you have to go somewhere... hopefully that'll change once I'm far enough in to the game - I've just got to the first underground camp.

Oh, and Lara looks beauitiful, well done there!

I just finished the game, wow ! hands down one of the best tomb raider games ever
can't believe this came from the same team that made TRU
and the credits :D first time I actually liked one, it shows how passionate cd dynamics is, they kept thanking fans and mentioning fansites like trf :p

I pre-ordered from gamestop, where is the pick up code for the scavenger hunt?

I'm in heaven. BEST TOMB RAIDER EVER!! I'm using the Guerilla skin -- I like it much better than the default (though the default is still great). Hnnnng!! :cln: :cln:

Btw, playing the game on the Razer Edge tablet with TressFX enabled. I'm in freaking heaven with this setup.

Do you guys play with tressfx on? Is it glitchy and light as before? I could't find gameplays on AMD 7000 series to see if there a difference.

Just went downstairs to find my copy sitting by the front door, all safely wrapped, felt like a kid at Christmas!

Didn't realise we get a free 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial with it too, I really need to stop living like a neanderthal and sign up to Gold permanently.

Home alone today so no distractions, gonna shut the blinds, close the door and play Tomb Raider :D
