I believe that was the original incarnation of Himiko - the one on the top of the Ziggurat was Himiko in her last incarnation.

I assumed that this WAS Himiko, and her corpse was later prepared and 'masked' for the ceremony.

I completed it in that time on my first go aswell, It's really not as long a game as people originally made out.

Was playing earlier, and I was sliding down a zip line, in the Research Base I believe, and I got a glitch where Lara disappeared on me. All of her gear was there, but she couldn't move. She literally like poofed into thin air.....

I just finish the game minutes ago and i had to come here to say that it was Epic!!! the only thing i didn't like is that Alex die, i mean it was so sad and Roth, Grim.But Alex seriously did Lara forgot that she had weapons?-_-
Am glad that Reyes survive it would be so sad to live her toughener alone in the world.
Now i get why people hate DR.Whitman that much^-^ he is the worst my sister even ask me if he was the bad guy.

Wow, this game was better than i had originally anticipated. I'm playing on PC and the visuals are incredible, Nixxes did a fine job with it.

The execution was good, storytelling was good and the music was good too, the theme, nearly everything. Lara gave me a small history lesson with some of the antics i found xD. Loved finding the documents too. They make sense when you find all of them, especially when your going through your second playthrough. Tombs were fine but a bit easy. Sometimes i couldn't help but think of LOST at times with the island.

As for nitpicking... The only flaw i reckon i found was a minor part in Lara's development that i thought was a tad bit rushed, suppose i can't exactly blame them because things like Character dev takes take ages so for gameplay purposes, things are rushed. An example was Lara suddenly feeling confident to kill dozens of solari soon after contemplating her first kill. Not to mention being very proficient at handling weapons as soon as she picks em up (minus the bow, its mentioned she practised archery in the past i think?). Although she does give hints that she's not exactly comfortable with her confrontations (would rather avoid them), its out of sheer necessity. Again, i think this as more of a gameplay issue than poor character development, they're forced to comply the story in relation to the gameplay mechanics. Story has to keep up for gameplay purposes in this case.

There are a few bugs but nothing major on PC. I think someone brought up that there's a bug on the PC version that doesn't show any of the camera effects, solution being we have to run it in windows mode. Bit annoying tbh. And theres the TressFX, its fine with AMD cards apparently but unfortunately i have Nvidia. Doesn't help when i've recently upgraded to GTX 670 3 weeks ago. Surprised to see the fps drop quite considerably when i put it on. Hope a driver or a patch is released soon. :/

Oh btw does anyone else know what happens when you find all the GPS Caches?

No idea where to put this snippet, so here will do. Did any Skyrim fans notice anything familiar about the voice of Nikolai? Very distinctive voice, the actor Vladimir Kulich also voiced Ulfric in Skyrim. :)

I'm speculating the one on the top was Hoshi, one of the priestesses. She commited suicide and I think that's how Himiko's soul got trapped....

Unless that was Himiko too and all the butchering and offering in the Shrine was to 'restore' her in some way...

No it's not sarcastic. :D I love the unpredictable aspect of it. Up until TRU you get shot to the next continent till you are on your last little millimetre of health in the bar but she doesn't even break into sweat. What we have now should have been implemented since AOD.
I'm also a fan of the regeneration after a while. Gives that stamina building feeling. :)
