Halo 4 was given a game play trailer a year before fall 2012, first thing we see in AC3 is trailer and the game already only roughly half a year away.

CD should have kept hush about TR2012 last year and just should of showed the fans about the game this year when they would have been more prep'd. But with anything new and exciting, you cant resist to tell at everyone as soon as possible. maybe they DID want to keep it hushed up until this year but they couldn't resist? :p

@aussie500 i agree with you, this game is most likely gonna be released late october/november onwards TBH. all the big games come out then, fall just about starts at late september.

They started the campaign early for a reason, to introduce everyone to Lara's changes and the brand change. :/

knowing that they're going to frustrate fans later on for not saying more? Thats counter productive. I don't think CD want to frustrate us to be honest. Neither do i think they were oblivious to the fact that holding info for too long from the fans causes friction. :s

not to mention they didn't even reach alpha stage until at least end of jan so things were in a jigsaw puzzle at the time with no real conclusive info being present at the time, which imo explains their silent treatment, so yeh unprepared in my book whereas now i have no idea. until they reach beta they gonna stay quiet IMO.

My personal guess is, that the game is going to be released in mid October. That would be the right time. November and/or December is too late.

settled in that case, it's set for November or rather its safe to assume that it's in November rather than October, at least for now. I keep stressing that around November lots of top games a released if thats an indication, maybe slightly earlier or later.

I don't see why she'd suddenly have a braid at the end of the game, considering CD chose the ponytail for being more dramatic.

Also, it was said no shorts, I think.

I'd like to see shorts in the future though, as they're fun and adventurous.

i personally dont like braids, too much hassle to maintain, a pony tail can be SOOO much more convenient and im saying that from experience not just because lara has them :p.

@larafan and adrenaline Well maybe they might release a DLC for a different attire or something or even have the option after game is complete as some sort of complement. But chances are slim cuz karl said forget everything about tomb raider you already know, i think he also meant braids :p

I like the look of the braid and I wish they wouldn't have such a problem switching it up now and again.

I thought Braids are better for her situation, Because her hair is loose at the moment, which dangles into her face when she walks, runs, jumps, etc, and just flies all over the place..But if she braided it up, It wouldn't be all over the place, see. .. Thinking realistically..sorta.

I think she'll have shorts in TRII (10), but not in this game. And I also think, that the braid will never come back.
