I have the same complain about the artifacts, I'm playing everyday since release, replayed the tombs a lot. I'm in greece now and only have 1 piece for 3 different artifact. (So I had the chance to get a piece only three times) I think it's not a lot for the time I spend on the game. They should increase that a bit...

Also I'm always short on coins it's annoying. Like I have a crazy amount of yield shards but not enugh money to use them at the same time as upgrading the outfit or my weapon.

I get that you need to upgrade Lara Croft to win more battles but honestly replaying the same 5 chapters to get a ridiculous amount of coins is getting annoying...

Other than that I really enjoy it !

I was worried about the bomber pieces too but they also appear as daily rewards. Now I will get all the necessary pieces for the bomber during this week. I don't know if the daily rewards are the same for everyone though.

I assume that the parka and original suit pieces will appear there as well.

I think I just had a bug this morning (a good one) I played a chapter and only got blue shards but when the chapter ended they gave me a piece of artifact instead. So it's a cool bug lol

Also does anyone has tips on how to beat the boss in greece, for now I only managed to kill them by luck and I would like to know if there's any kind of strategy when fighting them ?

Reached the middle part of Chapter 6 and still no relic pieces dropped, maybe I'm doing this wrong...

I did find a "golden spider" enemy that drops a chest with lots of coins, though. Are the relic pieces dropped from this enemy, or do they spawn in the puzzle rooms (the ones with the colored buttons), replacing the blue shards we use to upgrade relics?

Also, do relics from Peru (the first three ones) drop in Chapter 6 onwards (Greece)?

^ The relics are hard to come by, they appear at random. You need to make sure to complete the puzzle before the timer runs out as well. Just keep replaying the story chapters and they'll appear eventually. According to the game, relics have a higher chance at showing up in harder levels too, so for Peru I'd recommend playing Tomb of Qualopec and Lost Valley if you want to go relic hunting.

BTW each location has 3 relics (with 3 parts needed to complete the whole artefact), so the relics from Peru will only be available in Peru chapters and so on.

I decided to call it quits.
At some point, it just got too cumbersome for me. I really wanted to give this a chance, but in the end, my general disliking of today's F2P mobile game mechanics (especially random lootboxing) outweighed all the nostalgia.
I guess, I'll give the other games in the franchise another GO.

I'm at stage 19 on St Francis Folly, the boss fights are hard on this one too.
I unlocked the bomber jacket and it seems to be powerful but I upgraded so many times the Classic one, I don't think it's possible for me to change... :p

I got to the 2nd boss fight of St. Francis too (and died horribly). The bosses here are relentless :eek:

For the 10th side tomb of Qualopec I used the "resurrection scroll" (or whatever its name is in English). I think having 2 or 3 grenades power-ups helped a lot, since Lara keeps shooting even while running.

I thought it'd be the toughest boss I'd see for a while. But St. Francis had other stuff in mind :p

The grenades seem to be a good idea, thanks ! Maybe I should use some resurrection scrolls too but I want to avoid to use them as much as possible. :D

Ha and I managed a couple of days ago to have more than 3000 gems, so I "purchased" the biggest chest in the shop for 2800 because I literally have no other use of them. Get a lot of rare things but unfortunately not useful yet, but I know that will be in the future when I will be able to combine those items. :D

Same thing with the bomber jacket. I would like to wear it but the catching up for the upgrades is insane I don't think I'll ever wear it. I did tried it and played the first chapters but that's it !

I really like the game but honestly I think I play it too much. My phone told me this morning my screen time was up to 12% these days lol

Also I found the piece of artifact that is supposed to upgrade what Anaya is giving you and I spent on it but still no change. Is it a bug ??

Also I had another bug in Palace of Midas, after beating the bad guys in the first room there was no trigger so Lara Croft kinda was stuck there for ever. I had to go back to main screen... Kinda sucks when it cost 5 plane tickets to enter a chapter lol

Do your game crashed as well when you're playing an add ? While they're all optional, it's really annoying I can't doubled my gains, today...

I think I'm going to be stuck in Vilcabama :(. The furthest I've gotten is stage 19.

Don't worry, you'll get there. Took me a bit, but after a while and after replaying Mountains and Caves several times, Vilcabamba was possible.
Make sure you claim everything and regularly upgrade, dismantle and merge stuff.

It's tedious, but possible.

I think this has been an issue for a long time (i.e. before version 1.0). Even when new ones are released in the future, let's face it, no-one is going to change to a level 1 outfit simply because they like the look. I wish they'd give us a better incentive to wear others or at least allow us to switch to them simply as "skins" while retaining the upgrades of another outfit.

same, it's just too much to upgrade a new outfit from scratch... especially when you want to upgrade other stuff

NOONE got the time to build an outfit from scratch.

That's what I kept telling them for a long time when the Bomber outfit was new. Same when they started to introduce new weapons and masks into the game. I am not going to go from my level 42 legendary items to a common level 1 item and level it all from scratch. Never in my life.

So that's the reason why I didn't even try most of the new stuff and probably never will.

They completely ignored feedback on everything in the game. Especially the side tombs. I remember people in the beta did not like how the side tombs required 25 runs to complete them after the devs asked if the side tombs were a good addition to the game.

That feedback was completely ignored and the devs just ran with it. So much feedback from playtesters and beta users was never implemented. I saw on Twitter from Ed that there were also some fan service features that were not implemented into the game either.

The devs also said they were work on late game balancing before the full game released and yet then never did. They balanced the first 3 chapters, but the rest have reminded completely untouched.

I am no longer active in their Discord server, but back when I was there was a lot of quality feedback from early testers such as myself. Fox was constantly saying how this or that was such a great idea and she'll forward that to the dev team.

And now we are in a global release of the game which feels exactly like how the game felt during the early access period. More or less. But definitely none of the player feedback made it into the game.

Also, people who were in the early access know full well how slow these devs are with their updates (especially new content). New players should not be shocked if a feature that they announced doesn't make it into the game for at least half a year, or ever.

This game is frustrating as hell. Anyone else getting "connection issues" where you will be playing a stage and, very often, after maybe 20/30 stages, connection issue, the level crashes out and all progress is lost. :cen: this game!

On a brighter note, I have found 2 new Peru relic pieces in the last day or so. Either I got incredibly lucky or they have increased the drop rate?

Im on level 16, and still got only one relic piece entirely.

I'm stuck at Francis Folly, I can't get past the 3rd boss... It's getting really boring, they need to nerf the bosses.

Same, since 2/3 days I had a lot of crashes. Two of them were what you described and 4/5 of them were at the end of a chapter, when you reach the final screen that shows you what you won. When you try to go back to the main menu it crashes and you loose EVERYTHING. Having it happening once is annoying but I got this crash like 5 times. It's being really frustrating especially for a game this hard. It's quickly killing my interrest in the game. Why would I play such a hard game if it crashes like that leaving me with nothing ? Where's the fun if I'm stressing out about a potential crash at the end of a chapter ?

Honestly this is a shame that after two years of delaying the release it still is THAT unstable. It's a shame because it's a beautiful and fun game but these problems really kills it, at least for me.

The thing that's funny to me is how when the game crashed a lot on release day the devs tried to blame Netflix for it. People demanded they investigate the issue until they actually discovered it was a bug on their end after all.

For those getting stuck I don't think they will change the difficulty because as Ed said on Twitter, the point of the game was to squeeze out as much profit as possible.

I can watch 100.000 ads (maybe I already have...or I am close to) and I won't spend a single USD on this game.

For ****'s sake, it's FREE. Why would I pay?

Anyway, I killed St. Francis' Folly's archer (it was actually an easy boss). But I died on the next floor :o

So, today's missions for the event is to watch ads from Winston. This character is absent from the Netflix version, since there are no ads or in-app purchases. This means that if you have this version installed, you can say goodbye to your Winter Parka! Good job, Devs! :facepalm:

The Netflix version was clearly and afterthought. :vlol:

Yeah today's mission is so lazy. I don't play the netflix version and I don't know if this is on purpose but I usually see Winston a lot and today he is nowhere to be found lol

Also they need to fix the crashing issues ASAP beause I'm really tired of loosing everything I won ! It got worst, I got so much crashes yesterday.

I even cleaned up my phone and rebooted it in case the problem was on my side but it changed nothing. I have like 38Go of free space on my phone so plenty of whatever for the game to run fine.

I am so close to delete it because of the crashes and it's a shame because I love to play it and I love the art style

As for Anaya, Winston and Von Croy, no voice line at all. They just show up and some text asks you to choose what you want ! ;)

Today I lost a piece of artifact because the game crashed. It is so unstable sometimes it crashes during an ad or collecting something in the main menu.
I saw some people having the same issue in the comments of the app store. Does anyone here have lot of crashes like that ?

Go to the discord of the app, a lot of people are experiencing the same issue, especially on iOS devices.

I'm starting to think the Netflix version is actually the worse one.
