I ve just noticed that the eclipse is centered.

My OCD self agrees with you, but it's so cleverly composed that I think it looks very charming :D

I really hope Quetzalcoatl will be in the game. I want Lara to fight and/or ride a dragon! It’d be a great introduction to supernatural monsters too!

I hope so too. But I'll keep my expectations low as most likely we'll get some Oni style undead Aztec warriors to keep it in style with the two previous games.

Hoping for an epic final boss battle! Most likely in a round-shaped area and just after battling an extensive horde of human-sized on our way to the top.

I mean, the reboot was originally meant to be in a similar style of Shadow of the Colossus, soooo why not make it a SotC style boss fight? :D

I honestly love every last thing I've seen. :hug: The logo, the teaser, Lara herself, Mexico - just everything looks gorgeous and I am simply dying to play it already. I am particularly fond of the logo, it looks really cool and clever, and the name "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" sounds splendid. Very mysterious.

I have a very strong feeling now that Shadow will be a grand, beautiful, and all together strong finish to the reboot trilogy. :)

Anyone else happy for a release date they've chosen? With such behemoths as Read Dead Redemption 2, Black Ops 4 and Battlefield V coming in october-november, I think they picked a perfect release window in mid-september so SOTTR won't cross with other major releases (cough, Fallout 4) and get the most out of publicity.

^ Absolutely. There doesn't seem to be anything right now that can really threaten TR (then again, it's still early). At least Square finally know that Rise being released as an exclusive in November was dumb. :p

Unless some major game announced at E3 or later for a September date....look what happened when Fallout 4 came out on the same day as Rise

Good question :ponder: I'm afraid, until they've enlightened us with more information, we won't decipher much, as there seems to be no indication whatsoever regarding the exact current location Lara's visiting, the time period of structures shown and other details, which might be informative enough to discern between both civilisations.

To me they look like the Mayan pyramid style of the Temple of Kukulcan, in Chichen Itza.

Wasn't Mexico hinted at as a new location in the previous games?

The last screencap when she is on the pyramid, is that a horde of people?
