One thing that is making me angry is that there are people who are "disappointed" (In some threads) because today there was not a longer trailer :confused:

I don't understand how we can be disappointed:

-Finally the game that we expected so long is announced.
-We've a clear date where they'll give more details: April 27. There'll be no uncertainty. We know exactly the day.
-Tomb Raider has been a "boom" this week. People talk about the saga. It isn't dead. The film and the enthusiasm of social networks for this announcement prove it.
-NO EXCLUSIVITY :p
-The game comes out this year, September 14. :jmp:

Agreed. We only have to wait a month. Just one month and then we'll get more news. I know we've waited long, but it's just right around the corner, and we have something to hold us over until then.

And there's a short time until the actual release. If anything, we should be thanking them that they did this now, instead of waiting until E3 like people thought.

Good thing is that the overall reaction to this Reveal is positive as far as i can tell.
I know the sales and reviews were good, but if you walk around in the TR fandom you would think the Reboot is far worse than it actually is.
You tend to forget that the game was a game of the year candidate despite stuff like Fallout coming out the same year.

Excellently put! Everything regarding the game seems transparent now and I can't wait to see more information gradually unfolding, leading to a majestic launch day.

Some people just don't understand that companies don't care if fans have seen leaks or not. Whatever leaks was never suppose to be online in first place anyways. They're not gonna change the schedule cause their PR company was too dumb to keep it a secret and cause cinemas in France showed the trailer too early. The reveal was probably planed a long time ago. Also I rather have it this way than having another TR2013 moment where we had to wait 2 years til the game comes out.

SE didn't change the reveal of the Monsters Inc Kingdom Hearts trailer either even tho it leaked before. It's not like they're gonna say "Ohhh some bitch hacked our servers and already revealed the new world. Let's show another world instead!!!!!1!1!1!1!1"....

I bought CE of reboot and later realized that i made a mistake. I mean it wasn't really expensive but everything is just collecting dust. So i went digital with ROTTR and will probably do the same with SOTTR. It's much cheaper especially on PC.

And that underground cave with a pyramid in the middle reminded me very much of the Abandoned Mines area from ROTTR :D

Phew ! I was really worried after that SAGblahblah strike , it would've been extremely jarring to listen to reboot Lara voiced by somebody else , glad to see it won't be the case . Camilla's performance is spectacular , it's got its few shortcomings , but nothing's perfect anyway .

Do you think there'll be more locations rather than just Mexico? Like Rise had? I would like 3 locations and Mexico be the main one + Rome and London

+1 for Rome. Honestly, I've been begging for an urban and rainy setting since AoD. Hopefully there's some sort of level like that in Shadow.

There's promotion around the game already! Arby's posted this ad on their pages and we can see her outfit more clearly. Sadly it's just a strap, not a backpack.

Not sure I like this new outfit and a bit disappointed about the backpack to finally not be here. :p

A bit joking, most probably it's the quiver, though it seems too big and square for it... Or maybe shell now have a backpack and quiver combo (still hoping for the backpack :o ).

I don't know if I like that outfit if there's the one that we used in the last 2 games I'll probably use that instead of this ... I'm still dissapointed that we didn't get the full trailer yet :(
I also saw that cave with the pyramid inside and it gives me rise vibes don't get me wrong I liked it in ROTTR but it looks the same with just a pyramid instead of Byzantine ruins and I don't like seeing the same things again and again it just looks the same... I also expected to see the duals back but it seems like the really don't care ... :/

Ok in the hope they got it wrong but after reseeing the actual screen it seems their right !

Anyway, 43 days left before more informations and 183 days left for the release !
