i don't understand why they changed the victory tune in ffx-2

They did so because Nobuo Uematsu didn't work as composser on FFX-2. Actually, two compossers, Noriko Matsueda and Takahito Eguchi, worked on this game.

Obviously Nobuo wasn't the composer, do you think he is capably of making such annoying, cheesy, girly music?

I really don't like the music in X-2. Too happy & funky for my taste.

Well...that was the purpose I think :p Many FF players thought FFX-2 would be another epic story about saving the world, extremely developed characters, huge new places...but even the music states that things aren´t what was expected. You´re to have fun mostly and there´re just two epic moments in the whole game: a- Yuna talking about what happened two years ago ending her speech with "Give me your resolve. Believe in Yuna"; b- The 100% completion ending.
The themes are, mostly, intended to be entertaining/fun/cheering. LeBlanc´s themes are a clear example.

I get what you're aiming at. But I definately prefer the sad/sappy love story line from X & the more dramatic music.

Sure the music in X-2 made me laugh a few times.. but most of the time it made me wanna cry from embarasment :p

Of course, I love FFX´s story too...and I believe it to be the best plot in a videogame :)

And the embarrasment...I felt that when doing that special thingy on Leblanc´s back in her Chateau´s bedroom :D That was crazier than any theme in the game :p

I still prefer VII or VIII over X. Even though X was the first one I completed. X is really good though. I didn't mind the constant story telling. Might've been a bit of an over kill in some parts. But I enjoyed the game.

OH gawd.. that part. I played it at night. My dad thought I was watching porn the next morning O_o
