A lot of the times they don't. Usually the difference is between anti-analyzing, shadows, bloom effect, pop-up textures, and framerate. A lot of the time the PS3 get's the small end of the stick, but sometimes devs are generous enough to make them equal enough on all platforms :p

Actually 360 is the easiest console to develop games on. A lot of developers make a multiplatform game on 360 first.

Pretty much...I never notice much different to be honest. The PS3 versions always just seem a little bright and less saturated to me all the time. *shrugs* nothing mind blowingly noticeable.

For me the only things i really notice are the frame tears and the less smooth shadows.

Hate to say it, but you're right on that too. Alot , of PS3 ports suffer bad from frame rate issues, screen tear ect. Bayonetta is a major example, perfect on the 360 and a complete mess on the PS3.

Thanks for posting. Not that I don't care about the rest, but did anyone else notice that her hair doesn't split in the demo? It moves just like the Underworld ponytail. I guess they gave up on it? :o

No it still splits, but i they are still tweaking it so right now its not working properly.

For some reason the hair looks a bit better here btw, for those of you that are so concerned about it. I'm guessing the reason they don't have it fully activated or whatever yet is because it does weird things like go through Lara's neck or so it appears to while she's ripping deer's insides open.

Just got finishing from watching some Assassin Creed III gameplay... It looked great. The platforming was great, the combat was fluid, the environments looked big, and it all felt very natural.

I really hope this new Tomb Raider brings it...

I was wondering what would happen later in the game?
I mean after Lara has established herself on it i.e. camp, weapons and food etc .. Will she scour the island? Obviously still trying to find her way off it. But if the island is anything like the Bermuda triangle, how will anyone come to rescue? And will all her teamates survive?

Is this going to be a lot like Lost? :p And is Lara going to end up like Danielle Rousseau??
