I would guess that it's true.. the source from which the rumor came seems pretty unreliable.

Yes They are Aiming for a Fall 2012 Release and apparently as i read in another Thread they are not having Major Problems with the Game and everything was going as planned ( I Don't remember the thread though) And the silence of Karl and the Crystal Team maybe caused by some small concerns they have maybe they are polishing the areas they want to screenshot a bit more. Anyway The 2013 delay it's just a Rumor hope it's Fake :D

I bet it looks even better than the last Screenshots we saw remember? the first screenshots we got from Game Informer looked great very Beautiful but there was something about Her hair.... Then later some months later we got new screenshots and They looked incredibly Gorgeous and her Hair looked better I can't imagine how it will look now! :jmp:

Yeah, I wanna see where the radio tower is, like the ground around it.

I expect us to see the demo where Lara goes through the wolf hub and climbs with the axe to the radio tower and then the plane scene ensues.

I hope there is an area that looks like Thailand from Underworld, with beautiful architecture and jungles, with sunlight shining down and making everything look amazing...

I don't know... but in a batch of screenshots that came after the first wave, Lara's hair had more strands and looked silkier or something. It didn't look like a rag like it looked like in the gameplay demo.

See in this Screenshot (second one down on the left) Lara's hair looks much different and better.

@LF25 Im thinking the Landscapes of parts of the island, maybe some platforming and maybe some introduction to characters. Thats about all i can think of :/

Climbing and (I dare to say) aiming. Aiming is not a combat, right? I mean they can show us how she's using the bow. How the basecamps will work, traversal system, healing, upgrading weapons and skills. There are so many things to show...

I agree. The hair on that screenshot looks the best of all. It looks like it's the only screenshot where she has her hair finished and polished.

Her hair was wet in the gameplay demo too - remember she was wading through neck-high water? It was also blowing in the wind at the end of it, yet it was all clumped together and didn't look like hair. I can't look at that picture I linked and seriously say no improvements were made to the hair.

But the wind is far more intense in the second demo.

Also, if you look on the back of the TR Trilogy box, you'll see a screenshot of TRL in which Lara's hair looks like long strands of gorgeousness out of a Pantene commercial. But in game it's quite different looking.

I really don't think those screens are new or depict a newer build.

Her hair isn't wet in the first image and it could still not be blowing as much.

It definitely appears that way. To be honest I can't see why more wetness and more wind would make her hair separate into strands. Hair is supposed to do that in the wind anyway, dry or not.

I doubt she is completely dry after a few minutes of being out of the water. Besides, when you're on a beach with blowing wind, long hair doesn't stay clumped like that.

I see how one shots looks like she has more thinner strands. Perhaps the texture on the strands of hair has been made to look like it has more strands or something. But I still think the screens are taken from the same time with no remarkable improvements being made.

Well if u look at the screenshots that are taken outside the Cave they have different Graphics they have been working in the graphics, If u compare the first Screenshots released in January and the ones released after E3 they are Hell way different in many Points and they look better i Love Lara's Hair when it's wet u should look at the pics i was trying to put them in here but My Internet connection has been incredibly Slow lately :( the page didn't Load :/

We definitely got screenshots from different developing stages. Look at her hair and also her shirt hem. I mean all the textures not just hair and the shirt. Look at the bow holster (the belt)...there are no letters on the first screen, on the second they are there.

I think the reason why some may think the larger exterior at the end of the E3 demo is graphically less than what we've seen in the leaked area is because CD would have polished up the interior spaces for the den, and less the giant exterior world. Whereas the E3 leaked demo takes place mainly outdoors so it makes sense for that area to be polished more than the other outdoor area which we see for less than a minute.

Also I do not think the above two screenshots are from different builds or models, I think textures have to load and that is the result.

I just really hope her hair improves by alot.

Everything was pulled out of the "vault" later. And only one of those screens was new to people, the others had been used in magazines and had been viewed by us as low res scans.

I also remember someone mentioning that it's all from the same build.

Although in the leaked demo Lara's hair seems more feathery and light than in the E3 den demo in which it feels clumpy and heavy.

I do wonder why her hair looks different in everything? The screenshots, the concept, the wallpaper... Why so different? What is going on with her hair?!!?!? LOL?

Her hair should already be like as we saw in the CGI trailer. :jmp:
