Seeing the new gameplay bits, I must say I'm impressed. The cutscenes are really well made, and although every second word of Lara's are "Oh God" or "Okay" (which gets utterly annoying) it feels believable. I actually got goosebumps when we heard the wolves howl. It left me kind of scared and excited to see more, which is already a good impression.
I also love the in-game sounds, it's a very great touch that there's music while we're exploring, that we only hear the hard raindrops landing on different kind of materials, it is strangely relaxing yet frightening. This kind of silence is what I loved in the classics.

I really agree with this.the atnosphere in the hub without any overbearing music adds so much!

You watched it? Bad luck. The spoiler comes from the narration, not a cutscene in the game. If I'd know you were going to watch it, I'd have told you to avoid the first minute and a half.

Whether or not there's more to the spoiler, I don't know. But I don't think it really matters, the spoiler Andy Farrant gave us in that vid is of the same magnitude as telling us Natla had returned in Underworld. I can't believe Crystal have allowed such an important story detail to be made public :confused:

Well the Sam spoiler sounds to big to be simply ignored during the course of the game. It's the biggest spoiler we got to date , if what I think is true, we can already make out where the story is headed.

So those of you who didn't read the spoiler, be carefull :D

You can say that again, this place has a lot of rules, written and unwritten. For better or worse though we have to obey them, for example, I've been banned two times for posting oversized images, I kept forgetting to check the size, now I simply don't post images :p ...

It's not massive, she's just related to a former Japanese ruler, it's certainly intresting but I can't see the "hugeness" in it :confused: .

It is because we never knew why they captured her. In was a mystery. Thats somethink we would have found out at a later point in the game. We go in search for Sam but we don't know why they wanted her which is why were so interested to go on this journey with Lara and find out. Although we dont know the purpose Sam has though. Thank god

Oh, so, we're like just assuming that they abducted her for that reason or do they (the devs, or whoever we found out from) actually say that?

I think we've seen that, in the Crossroads, it's where she stands up, and her adrenaline (?) goes off and a guy with a torch blinds her and she shoots the other guy.

There's not a safe thread is sight it seems. Luckily I haven't seen or read anything yet today and I think I'm gonna keep it that way.
