I just want the render they've talked about, with Lara holding the bow. They said we'd be happy because it was with the Lara we always knew, the fearless one. I just can't remember where it was said, though :/

What if that render was accidentally released months ago? As a 100x100 pixel image? That I saw on google, and was like "OMG Lara with the bow" but then I saw the tourniquet render, and simply though I had mistaken thought...what if I actually saw that render? D:

Prolly not, but I could have sworn the bandage render was her holding the bow when I saw it for the first time, really small.

Three months of little to no media isn't bad though, we'll have podcasts and Q&A every month.

Are you sure it wasn't just the one from the Game Informer cover with the bow on her back? And in the full version of that render she's holding a gun and her ax. She looked fearless in that one.

Technically we don't have the full version of that render, we just have the original concept art with the more exotic head cut off, and the CGI one pasted on.

I'd love to see the full CGO counterpart, if the rest of her body actually exists.

I'm pretty sure the person who mentioned it, also made a reference to a river or something. Lara looked as fearless as she used to be and I think she was holding the bow. I think it was Meagan that said that they had made two major renders: the torniquet one and another one that would be released later.

I do remember it. I don't exactly remember where but it was from one of the million E3 previews. Maybe from CVG or something.

It makes sense for the second major render to portray a more bad ass Lara, as Karl said the next part of the campaign is going to show the next evolution of Lara's character in which she becomes tougher or something of the sort.

I want to see it huge at the doorways of E3.

So is Lara supposed to become like her old badass self? Or rather a more modern version of her old self?

I don't think the intention is that she becomes this hardened women with tons of repressed emotions (not that she ever was). Simply that she's experienced a lot on this island, so she will be more ready and experienced when it comes to future outings.

I'm sure things will still frighten her, shock her, and she will always feel emotions. It just depends on the situations CD present to the character.

I'd like to see the second game deal more with trust between other hunters, and how Lara deals with shady people.
