Why isn't Angel of Darkness Lara body not realistic? TReboot looks great in comparison but did anyone really care if she was proportional? Can you tell?

Question, why does the stormguard not want to ressurect the queen? Why do they just mindlessly protect her...I don't get it. :p If anything they'd be the ones who'd want to ressurect her and use her power. Plus, it's not as if the queen her self doesn't want to be reborn considering her twisting the minds of the solarii and bringing in the ships and survivors.

They might be commanded by the queen to kill every human being that is on the island. They are not really alive so there is a chance they are not realizing that the queen is being resurrected because of the humans...

They are protecting her because she is the great queen who gives them power and a huge kingdom if they serve her :p

So I downloaded my system upgrade for PS3 and my Tomb Raider it's mute now. Out of the blue. Just mute.

Part of me thinks it's down to something else, the queen manipulated the solarii to her ways. If anything it'd be easier to get the storm guard on her side and perform the sacrifices. Though after literally just completing the game again, I think the stormguard protect her from Resurrection at it is the generals fault the last ritual failed and "she's angry and vengeful" I feel maybe the stormgaurd aren't really protecting her but protecting themselves from her..

Well, none of the tombs were actually ancient in the proverbial sense. These were actually pretty modern tombs. You know what would've been REALLY cool though? If the storms had brought in another plane or ship, that would've spiced up the storyline a bit!

^I don't care about the storyline, I just wanted more tombs and less shootyness (and some decent replay value). But now Crystal has got their silly origin story out the way, there's no real excuse for the next TR not to be a proper TR. Unless of course that's too much to ask :pi:

That's what TR has always been about, actually, there have always been medipacks and ammo placed at all kinds of places they shouldn't, unless of course if you don't mean that :p ...

Now that you say it, I really missed the medipacks. You had to be much more careful what you did, when your body wasn´t self healing.

I'm pretty sure Tomb Raider 10 is going to blow us away.

I was more making a point about the over-emphasis on combat in TR9 and how it grates against what TR is meant to be, which is what I think that meme is doing. Otherwise they could've just said "finds GPS cache" or "finds document".

Amen to that. Health regen is a stain on gaming IMO.

The necklace was explained to be Lara's first find the only importance I really seen from it was that she was raiding from an early age to shape her later self into an archaeologist. Still pretty worthless aside from adding backstory. :p

Oh, well in this case TR was action-driven at times, TRII, Last Revelation, Legend and even Underworld at times had a lot of action yet they all managed to stay relevant (one way or another) to the series and that's waht the new game did, I think; there sure were moments when I was like "COME ON, how many are there?!" but the overall experience makes up for it I guess.

I can totally understand how you feel but I can't feel the same way since all I care about is story and characters so... yeah :p ...

^TR1 Lara should be in the middle, not TR9's. Or they should at least be side-by-side :pi:

The original should the point of focus, or at least sharing it. We wouldn't have TR9 Lara were it not for TR1 Lara.

Actually, TR2013 Lara is easy to replace with another Character. I don't think this version of Lara is so binding to the original. Even in terms of inspiration. It seems to have been detracted from Hollywood movies by far more than other TR games.

Should do another revision of that pic... with everyone pummeling the crap out of the new Lara. :D

TRU Lara is stepping on TR2 Lara's foot. What a bitch. Couldn't get over the fact that her game was less successful.

TRA Lara is uncomfortable with the rest of Laras because her game isn't part of their continuity, hence the awkward expression.

I always thought TR4 Lara looked like Sarah Michelle Gellar.

TR9 Lara needs to be in the middle, since the point of the picture (IMO) is that the new Lara is welcomed to the family by the old Laras.

If anything, I actually believe health regen made the game harder.
With medipacks I could just heal myself for a long time before dying even if I'm taking heavy damage.

*random idea* If there was an option to turn blood off on TR10, the blood could be replaced with grey smoke. How cool would it be to be shooting enemies and have smoke come from them, as if the bullets are ripping through them at lightning speed!
