She was being semi-sarcastic, apparently, and I guess it was a sort of joke that the developers put in there. Though personally, I think if she had a real passion for tombs, she wouldn't say "I hate tombs" in such a bitchy way, she would probably just say "I hate this place" or blame herself for underestimating how stressful tombs can be. ;)

I have no idea why everybody is so serious and pissed about this line. I found it cute, and fitting.

What I do hate though, and a LOT, are Jonah and Alex's cheesy as **** lines. I cringe at everything they say.

Example? Do tell.

I think Jonah's are okay.

These two are passable, but then there is...

I love Jonah and everything he says, but Alex's are way too cheesy.

Example, "You have to leave without me" or something like that. Basically telling her to save herself.

I thought it was funny, when Alex was drooling over Reyes´s 14 year old daughter XD

I cringe everytime I play as Jonah in multiplayer (though he is my fave character). There's that one line that he says at beginning of any level:

"Protect yourself! It's the only way!!"

"I hate Tombs". Did anyone actually note where Lara had just been before saying that line? Up until the point when she realises she's in Himoko's Tomb, she hadn't had much fun in anything that had resembled a tomb. Yes, she is a newly graduated archaeological student who'd been on digs with her parents, but that doesn't mean she has much experience in the field or even in actual tombs. I'd imagine her parents wouldn't have let her anywhere that was potentially dangerous, but just to be around their digs where they could keep an eye on her. Her reaction is primarily a direct response to where she'd just had to walk through and having just wiped cobwebs off her. A soon as she enters the tomb, proper, complete with historical significance, which is what she's interested in, her eyes light up and she is intrigued and in awe. Plus I think it was a sort of 'in' joke to be ironic considering Lara will become the Tomb Raider soon.

I think it's a fun line, and not supposed to be taken too seriously, despite my ranty explanation above :p

Jonah and Roth were the most interesting characters from the supporting cast.

Jonah especially was very likable.

Today I bought new graphic card (AMD HD 7770 Powercolor) and I'm finally able to play game at the ultimate settings with tressfx and all those effects at 22 fps according to benchmark. I must say, the game is heaven for eyes. I played on normal settings at 1680x1050 and the game also looked good but now with 1920x1080 resolution and ultimate settings it's like I washed my eyes! I'll have second playthrough tomorrow to admire the places and Lara's flawless hair. :D

The worst Jonah line was, I just saved his ass from falling into a fiery pit and he's like "thanks". :mad:

Just escaped the Chasm Monastery :p .

I experienced a glitch today, at Mountain Village none of the secret documents, GPS caches or relics would appear, I fast travelled back to the area after reaching the Mountain Base though and everything was fine after that.

Turns out that multiplayer is actually really good :eek: ! I SUCK, but still, it's really nice :p !

Some of the GPS caches in the Mountain Village only show up during the day.

Seriously? Can't say I ever noticed.

Yeah, there was one I thought was bugged but I read the strategy guide and some of them appear only at day.

EDIT: Just checked again and some documents do it too.

It physically wasn't there but showed up on the map in the location.

I've actually started to get the hang of it, but I'm getting sick and tired of the bugs regarding connection and loading. Sometimes between two match the screen just turns black, or the loading screen won't go away, while the others are already playing. Ugh...
