Seems like Lara opened Pandora's Box with Yamatai. Hopefully she will be strong enough to overcome all the situation without making a tomb for each lost forgotten on that bloody island. Can't wait for this comic to come out, I'm super excited.

So why is she still dressed the same and holding her side? You'd think she would change clothes and get that impalement wound checked out. This does take place after the game, right?

That's what I wanted to know! Why is she still in the messed-up old Yamatai outfit if all these comics take place after the game? Does Lara only have one outfit :( She should steal some clothes off Sam. She seems like the spoiled, super-rich shopaholic type :ton:

Exactly. It's just art of Lara, related to the reboot game. Since she's all new and stuff, they won't stray too far from the original concept for the cover. She'll look different in the actual comic. xD

Oooh I see. Yeah I can see how they would want the immediate recognisability of the Tomb Raider outfit for the covers and promo stuff.

Lara needs to twerk that white shirt from the beginning comic.

Not necesarely, only the story is oficial.

An interview with Tanya Alexander, the voice (and body, I guess, haha) of Joslin Reyes. Quite interesting to read. :D And she really couldn't be any more obvious that Reyes will appear in the sequel. :p

So Toby Gard was involved? hmm.

Yeah, that was interesting. I mean, we know he was involved somehow in the cinematics from seeing the credits, but I never thought he was so hands-on with everything. And why did they keep it such a secret? That's what I don't get. :confused: Weird.

I feel like they really want to separate this Tomb Raider and the previous generations of TR. They may not have mentioned anything about him being involved because he is so associated with what TR used to be.

They specifically said he wasn't in an old Q&A, just read it like 5 minutes ago!

The vampirajen TR review finally came. And she brought up a good point. Roth probably could have been the father figure of Lara Croft, then when he died it probably would've, well, we probably would've cared more.

Did Tomb Raider need any of the side characters?

That includes Roth and Sam. Every time I watch like playthroughs of Tomb Raider everyone seems so psyched about the beginning of the game. Tomb Raider does indeed have a great opening. But when the other characters come along and get involved did they really do anything for her character? Did anyone else think when Lara got her bow for the first time and we hear Roths voice telling Lara how to use a bow (or something like that), did anyone else think we'd hear more of his voice pop up on how to do things?
And without Sam there wouldn't be much of a Himiko story and more Lara just trying to find a way off the island.

What was the point of Sam's cam beyond the few cutscenes? What happened to it? CD should have really used Lara's cam for Lara to capture different scenes from the game or as a gameplay mechanic.

Indeed. I was really hoping she would use that cam to capture significant things.

I have a question regarding multiple playthroughs; do your upgraded weapons and such carry over? Like, is the hard difficulty basically a New Game Plus?

What could you even do with a camera that would be useful? Underworld had it and it served no purpose other than zooming in and out.

Yeah, same here. Strange. It's supposed to take you to an online version of the game manual for the DE to view or download, but it doesn't work. Maybe it will only go online on the official release date.

Is it an official link from inside of the game's box? It's probably not gonna work until the street date, it's redirecting to Google now (why does Square Enix redirect to Google anyway).
