Levels, Items, Enemy Viewer

I have no idea where to put this, but I think members in the modding area have the most knowledge about my problem/question

I want to compile a list of all items and enemy types per levels in the classic games. Is there a way to view levels without just playing the game?

I have no problem playing the games, or watching walkthroughs but what made me come here is the problem, that once you pick up a weapon in tr1-3 all future weapons of the same type transform into ammo shells/clips only and I want to distinguish between those pick ups.

im really desperate and im hoping someone can help me :(

Hello Heartache :) and sorry for the late reply

There's a way to do that :) using FexInspect developed by Turbo Pascal :)

Pixstr will show you what enemies, animals, weapons, items, etc, are in each level using the data file of the level.

Fexinspect will show you how many enemies, animals, weapons, items, etc, and their locations in a level, by looking at each room in the level from the data file.

after some digging around i think it was fexinspect i ended up finding, since i could see every room and the items lying around. it was really helpful

I also recommend trview, it is a nice clean looking tool :) It shows all rooms at once too.

Here is a screenshot how it looks

trview is far more superior. And is actually in active development.
