They couldn't have picked a better shot for Present Day imo.

And it makes sense that they used AOD Lara for the PS2 gen, if they used TR1 Lara for PS1 gen, simply because they are each the first incarnation of that generation. Though they could have chosen TR4 Lara for the first gen, and TRA Lara for PS2 gen, accomplishing a classic outfit theme.

Though GOL is a strange choice considering Lara is so far away in most of that game.

Come on, even though I'm not DE Lara's biggest fan, I know there are much better shots of DE Lara than that one. :p They should have used the "I hate tombs" shot.

And I think it should have been TRA Lara for the PS2 era, and TRU Lara for the PS3/360 era.

I don't really think its that weird that they used GoL. I mean its the best last gen Lara Croft game besides the reboot itself (which is on current gen systems now).

I'm glad they used Gol instead of Underworld. I think it makes sense to use AOD as well. That era is really the height of the PS2 era's success (not because of AOD of course). Like if they were to use Legend or Anniversary I don't think the PS2 had as much pull by then. The Xbox360 had been released by then.

Anyway super cool that they recognize TR has been around for ages and progressively has changed with the times. :p

Sooo TR 2013 is the franchises best selling title. With all the hate, negativity and replacing her name with Laura. TR 2013 still beat out any of the past games and set a new standard for the franchise. Good job Crystal :tmb:

Those 6 million numbers are from March. I remember hearing 6.5 million a couple of months later. It might even be 7 million now.
Still, TR1 and TR2 have both sold more than 8 million as far as I know (although they did so in a much longer timespan).
Still, very impressive numbers from the reboot. :)
If only this exclusivity deal wasn't a thing then ROTTR may have expanded on this and sold even more.
