He's definitely laughing at something genuinely. Speaking in terms of body language, the side the of the eyes don't squint unless you're generally laughing, smiling. It doesn't happen when you just widen your lips.

It looks squinty near the eyes in the screen where his face is turned. Plus he's flashing a bit of teeth.
