It will work pretty well if there is no background noise and just a voice, but in a video like Final Hours where there's music, it just sucks. :p

I started working on something. Here's a test I did to make sure the audio was synced properly, it's not quite where I want it to be though.

Oooh! I like how Lara is sort of worryingly moving forward fast as the track picks up at the end, if you ever feel like you should use another clip for that part of the track, I'd try out one of the clips of her zipping down the zip line.

I think this is still a pretty old build. It's probably the same demo from Comic-Con and I'm pretty sure it was already a month or so old back then.

The dark screen seen behind the menu really reminds me of the TRU Mexico concept arts, they've really done well with capturing the atmosphere in this game!

That...that was actually what I was going to do it just ended up working with Lara dropping off the zipline and then the cutscene. :p I plan on puting the bit with the zipline right after she kicks that guy. I just cut out the off screen bit there and it seemed to work. :p

It's been quiet on his front and the focus seems to be about Sam now. Will he get anymore development or is he just serving as the catalyst to the missions? :)

Roth and Sam are THE TWO characters. So I'd say we'll have a bit of Sam and a bit of Roth focus.

My question is what say everyone about Roth in that damn Night Hub that was teased like ten years ago and then forgotten about?

Roth will turn Lara into what she is, or at least, he will help her to become herself. Since he's the captain of the crew and Ernest Shackleton played a part on his inspiration, means that he will be the one behind crew choices, and mostly the one who will guide Lara. IMO, the relation between Lara and Roth will end up for making this young frightened girl into a Tomb Raider.

Sam, in the other hand, will show a new side of Lara, her background, since they are old friends, Meagan said that on their chats they will unveil an unknown past of Lara and her story.

That makes sense.

But that also implies we'll see more of Sam, and have some convos with her when we catch up with her next, which is nice! :D

I think Lara will raise in her role amongst the other survivors.

Sam has Amanda's haircut too, except her hair is black, Amanda so wishes.

But I don't think Sam will be into all the strange stuff Amanda was into.

She looked weird when she had the crossed eye. I felt like she could be the bitch. But now, since they've fixed the eye, she looks cute :D It's hard to tell whether she's going to be one of those bad gay :pi:

I genuinely think Sam will be a nice girl next door, virginal, innocent type of character. She seems like she'd be the weakest female of the group with Reyes being a tougher character. If anything I'd say Reyes would be the one to turn over to the dark side we already know that she is prepared to kill from the way she speaks and how she can "use" a gun seems to suggests she has used on before. :)

I bet Lara turns out to be the bad guy.

She'll feel so bad for the fake Russian she killed that she falls in love with him and helps his buddies kill her buddies. And then she just realises that she loves shooting people and kills everyone else, too. She finds some clown make-up and yellow hair dye, manages to get off the island and replaces the Joker in the Batman: Arkham games.

....and then finally we get an open world Tomb Raider game.

The scene behind the menu is the forest, it just goes dark like that when the player pauses the game. If you watch the video, the guy pauses the video at that point, The smaller screen is of Lara and Roth in the night hub, obviously, the lighting looks normal there.

Though the lighting still seems dark in the shot of Lara and Roth, compared to the released screenshot. :/

That's probably just because it's off-screen footage.
