As some of you may know, there was another biiig community event today in germany. And people could play the final (german) build up to the radio tower. I sadly couldnt attend but I expect some new footage to pop up very soon.

How do you know it was final build?

I adore her jump animation. I just had to say that, I just think it looks really good. :p I don't care if it's a little exaggerated.

We never have any confirmation, as far as I'm aware.

One of the co-workers (Heartache at this forum) of our German website attended the event and told me that they were able to play the final version of the game - they had to stop after reaching the top of the radio tower, but they could have continued playing if Square Enix allowed it. :)

Were they allowed to record footage, and if so did they..? :pi:

Squeenix Germany contacted the headmaster of the various sites directly and indeed it was announced here as well.

Nora was there as well :)

Because it wasn't organized by Crystal Dynamics, it was an exclusive event from Square Enix Germany (Hamburg) and they only invited German members. ;)

The only thing that Heartache told me was that the hair looks stupid..

Well that is very informative. Though I do remember them disliking the hair the entire campaign, so regardless it's something I know wont bother me however much it bothers them.

Anything about how it was visually? or...just the hair? :vlol:

There was even a thread about it on here but only 3 people did respond. So I guess no one cared. :D

Anyways, I can't wait to see some videos of it. Also, I am interested in some interviews with Nora because - I really don't like her.

TR fans fascinate me. *sigh*

The game looks so damn pretty, the only thing that bothers me is the hair. So why should I care about the visuals, I already know that I like them.

I understand that you think that, but personally I can not understand how someone could go to a press event and actually get there hands on the final build and just say "OH, the hair is ****" not talk about anything else visually or how the game plays. I just think it's a waste of a space at the event if someone just went to see how the hair looked. Sorry, it's just silly. It'd be nice if we got someone there who actually cared about other things. You know? Animations? Environments? Side Tombs? Puzzle? and other things.

Yeah, I have to say, I completely agree with you. Hair would be the last thing on my mind (or at all) if I got to play TR at a press event. :p

I'm sorry, regardless what he went there for... for him to literally come on, and have nothing else to say than the hair is **** is still ridiculous.

Hopefully, if there's other events we get someone who cares about other things is all I'm saying.

It's already been said that that's not the only thing he went there for. MissJodieG asked about the hair and he told her what he thought about the hair.

I think some people are getting a bit hysterical about some of the fan's focus on the hair. I think it's fair, everything else looks great but the hair is still a mess.

A lot of people care about Lara's appearance, so all of you need to suck it up and accept it. All those things you mentioned are indeed important but it was just a random event not even organised by Crystal Dynamics itself, therefore it would propably be something we have already seen.

Besides, some of these German sites are bound to release some info so you'll get what you want sooner or later.

I don't give a **** if people care about the hair, I really don't I'd personally even like to know what it looks like. I'm just saying, if I saw the final build of the game I'd want to discuss more than just the hair.

May I ask why you thought the hair would have any drastic improvement anyway? :pi: or was that just wishful thinking?

If anything you'll need to wait for PC footage (I'm assuming they played it on the 360?) with its extra graphically additions they may have separated the hair more (Which would be nice) though I doubt it. Though...the textures will probably be better as they are normally improved with whoever is porting the PC version.

I'm guessing it looks like it does in the monastery gameplay tbh. At least it moves better and doesn't glitch over her shoulder all the time like it originally did.

I really love the movement in the monastery gameplay, I didn't even care about seperated hair while watching it. I'm totally okay with it if it looks like that! (:

I have to admit that I would have never watched the movie if it wouldn't star Emily Browning.
But I'm pretty happy that I did watch it!

It does actually kinda separate, if you look at the footage it doesn't break into strands but the actually tips strand off. So, it's not like the fox tail it originally looked like :vlol:
