The face is flawless, however even though I get the whole motion blur thing, everything is blured making it look funny. The gun needs a bit more work and so does her left hand. Other than that it's really great! :)

I think they're just going to release a launch trailer (In a week) and continue with the Endurance week (which I kinda like) and releasing those silly tibidits of information we knew since the game was announced. :rolleyes:

I don't think they've shown enough. All we've seen so far is Lara shooting at people and going through linear paths. I want to see these puzzles and exploration that CD keep going on about. And I mean before the game's release.

I think that's exactly the point.
They leave those moments so you can experience them on your own for the first time you play the game.
No point on seeing them on YouTube and stuff..

That's not really an excuse. It's like saying they shouldn't have shown anything at all because we should "experience" those moments for ourselves, too. They should show more to interest and convince more people that this game is not just a glorified third-person shooter. You know, it's called "promotion".

Glee is focused on 12 year old kids while TR is for mature. So there's no point on arguing this.

Well I wouldn't buy a game that showed all the good stuff while they were promoting it.

The shooting parts are what draw in the mainstream audience. Their marketing techniques are working so far considering it's generated a lot of awareness and is high on the pre-order charts, not to mention it actually surpassed the set target for PC pre-order sales today.

TBQH, not as many people as desperate to see the exploration as us fans are. :o I do think it's better that it's left to us to experience instead of being spoiled it through marketing videos on overload.

I think that the main selling point of this game is the infamous and controversy generating RAPE SCENE™

However, you're right that shooting brains is what will always sell and it's beyond my understanding why.

I bought Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 last year in hopes that it will be at least half as good as Half-Life is/was and I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth, unfortunately. You may argue that Half-Life is, after all, also just about shooting brains but you can't deny it got a damn good story to back it up. Left 4 Dead is like a cheap zombie horror. I uninstalled it and I have no desire to play it again :p

I prefer exploration and story over blood bath any day.

Yeah, shooting and explosions do equal sells these days. It's sad but true.

I've changed my survival edition into the standard edition and buying the art book. There is nothing amazing about any of the products that come with the survival edition but the art book looks great.

All in all thats the:
