Remember that thread about the reboot being like Wizard of Oz and a rebellious young girl on mysterious land and finding her way home we all bashed the theory but it just occured to me that since that necklace is the artefact what if it is the key to get off the island that she has had all along and needed to go on this pointless journey to grow in strenght. Well it wouldn't be a stretch. That depiction of the figure on the walls seems like a female to me. Lara is dragged from the shipwreck, we see that woman dead. Yet Roth remains unharmed until the wolves. I know he has guns but I doubt he made it off the ship without passing out in the process. There might be a connection there.

I think Lara will be the only survivor in the game to be honest that is why she will become iconic and changed in the end. A Survivor is born. :p

I think the same could be as long as she assumes a leading role and saves everyone.

I actually think the AC vs TR discussion is interesting. I mean, ACIII is definitely going to be a huge competitor since they'll be coming out around the same time and they're both action adventure games. CD should be worried. As a fan, even I'm a bit worried. And I don't think it's out of place in this section at all.

I'd like to address the question that everyone has always seemed to want to avoid: How many sequels are too many?

I'm a little confused by everything. When did I start, where did it end, where are we? I know it's a reboot but, then why would we still have to have the old TR in the back of our minds? If they decide to do a sequel to this game, is there a possibility of them going back? I mean, what.. could they, would they reboot it, again?

I can't help but feel that another reboot is inevitable. Say if CD do another 3 or 4 games like this one, people will get bored of that same formula eventually, so they'll either reboot the series again or just end it. That's what I think, anyway.
