The Endurance crashed on the island and that's present time. I'm pretty sure that there'll be boats planes that crashed recently enough that Lara will be able to team up with them as they haven't turned all scavengy yet. The earliest account that we definitely know of is WW2. Would they have had compound bows at that time?

I didn't even notice the bow was different in the Reach screenshot. :p I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same bow, though. The screenshots are one year apart so they could of changed it.

That's a compound crossbow and all the mechanics would be different for Lara to use it. I doubt Lara will use a crossbow as well. It takes the raw survival out of it.

Yeah it definitely looked like her smart phone. Obviously there'll be no signal but she'll probably be able to make video logs on it. I wonder what it brings to the plot though...
