How am I going to be surprised? I am suprised about other games where I merely look at a trailer, a few screenshots and think it worth my money. Tomb Raider I look at everything, so if I am going to be surprised about anything it was a deliberate effort on the part of the developer. I build up expectations for a Tomb Raider game based on what I see and think I will be able to do in it. Other games I like to be surprised and find out for myself when I play them.

This is still the last E3 before the game is released, and they have to keep our expectations fairly high longer than they usually would. I expect to be a very spoiled Tomb Raider fan by the time the game comes out next year. We might only get one more magazine preview before the reviews come out, but I expect Crystal Dynamics to start working very hard a few months after E3 to keep us happy and interested.

Yeah, I think it's the night hub. The game has been heavily improved, I can't believe it.

i dont think it's the night hub. there are no buildings on that screen. it looks like just random part of the forest. though the river could be the same one as the one in the night hub

It does look more forest like (which is fab), that's why I asked. It also reminds me of the night hub, which has the trees and waterfall.

we've only seen a part of the night hub, so it may be just different area of it. what kind of interests me more is when is this screen set in the timline. first I thought it's from Day 3 as she already had the bow in the night hub, but here she has the walky-talky on her back, which she didnt have before...
