I don't get why people are still complaining about Lara's hair, because at the end of the day it's only hair. The hair is not going to stop you from doing things in the game, and the hair isn't going to stop you from completing the game.

Nobody said that her hair will stop us from playing the game... It's just something that kinda bothers me.
I mean why did Lara's hair in the previous games were AMAZING! And in the newest one like a huge tail of a squirrel ? It just doesn't make sense... :p

I don't get why people still can't get that we(people who care about Lara's hair and overal appearance) do not complain about them being awful because we think they will detract us from the overal game experience but because we like to point out the obvious and/or like detail and therefore want Lara to look nice. No one is forced to listen to our complaints if they do not want to. The hair-talkers are not going to stop you from doing things in the game and the hair-talkers aren't going to stop you from completing the game.

You already did. At least graphics wise the game is final already. The trailer they showed at the VGA's (Survivor) was as final as it can be in terms of graphical quality.

All they are doing atm is fixing bugs. They would not DARE to change anything in the game that close to release. That would just create more bugs to fix. ;)

Not nowadays.

If the game is gold that just means that the content on the disc is finished and ready (gold-master is shipped to the companies that produce the DVDs etc).

But I assure you its not done yet. There will be a day 1 patch. I cant remember a single big game recently released without a day one patch. A few years back, PS1-2 era devs actually finished the game before shipping it. That does not happen anymore

And Tomb Raider w/o a Day-One-Patch? If CD pulls that off the game is either 1) unplayable due to bugs or 2) 100% finished on the disc. Chances that 2) happens are quite close to 0 in my opinion. Case 1 will probably kick in even with the help of a day one patch.

many forget, that her hair in crossroads is outdated too. cause what ever it was caused her hair to malfunction in the latest videos. it didnt move good anymore and the seperate strands somehow dissappeared completely. and thats what i want to be fixed. im not illusional and know that her hair wont look super awesome in the current gen. but there are videos where her hair seemed really, really fine. video was posted from missjodie.

smooth movement and those 4 seperate strands look waaaaaaaay better than what we've seen early december and in the survivor trailer

No, I can see why people don't like it. I'm not entirely fond of it myself, it's entire style is horrid and looks like something out of Final Fantasy but to sit there and say it will distract someone massively from the game and effect the experince I can't grasp at all. It just seems stupid to me. You guys are just complaining about it's physics and splitting. I literally hate the entire style yet it wont ruin my experience.
