God, not sure how to cope with all this nonsense while playing through this game. :/

If you don't like how it looks, then don't buy it. That will save you a whole lot of "coping."

You know, as a loyal 'fan' you are supposed to persuade people into buying the game, not dissuade them.

well considering that the trailer was about 3 minutes, and the game is 13-15 hours, i'd say there is plenty of opportunity for Lara to NOT be talking, moaning, screaming, or making any kind of noise :)

In the past Lara always talked to us. Is it the same for this game?

Will we have to follow Lara's directions in the beginning?

Lara: "Press jump to make me jump."

@metrion:
Probably not, I have seen some written hints appear during the playthroughs that I watched on YouTube.

Yeah, it's a lot for one trailer. The person who I was watching the trailer with felt exactly the same about it. :/
(Even worse, to be honest, which in turn made me hate it even more. :o)

Oh, I will buy it, of course! If only so that I can discuss the game with you guys. But if I wasn't a Tomb Raider fan I would not be so sure of it.

See, that's how you do it, Stevo505. ;)

She's lost on an island so definitely not, would not fit into the game at all.

Love2Raid, it's been discussed many times before, but the trailer is 3 minutes and they need random action and threatening scenes to represent the "hardships" she's getting put through on that island through the 10+ hour experience, so it's understandable why they made the trailer like that, otherwise we would've had a much longer and unnecessary trailer.

Also, that trailer basically consists of footage within the first hour of game, so I'm sure it's not that bad. :p

I have to agree with you about the trailer. After the initual hype phase was over, I realized how bad it really was. Even Rihanna Pratchet said in some interview that she didn't really think her moaning was necessary and that she didn't like how the trailer was handled or something along those lines. Something about how it really doesn't represent the game very well. Which it really obviously doesn't if you've watched the demos.

One of the ladies at my work said that Tomb Raider is what got her into gaming and that she's already pre-ordered the TReebot! :D :jmp:

I love my new job! :hug:
