You can say that again, this place has a lot of rules, written and unwritten. For better or worse though we have to obey them, for example, I've been banned two times for posting oversized images, I kept forgetting to check the size, now I simply don't post images :p ...

It is because we never knew why they captured her. In was a mystery. Thats somethink we would have found out at a later point in the game. We go in search for Sam but we don't know why they wanted her which is why were so interested to go on this journey with Lara and find out. Although we dont know the purpose Sam has though. Thank god

Oh, so, we're like just assuming that they abducted her for that reason or do they (the devs, or whoever we found out from) actually say that?

I think we've seen that, in the Crossroads, it's where she stands up, and her adrenaline (?) goes off and a guy with a torch blinds her and she shoots the other guy.
