Biggest AAA titles have a release schedule in November. TR should choose different month for the game release date.
Isn't TR pretty much a AAA title now? Or at least it probably will be.
I really hope so. Like they said, since they've reached alpha stage, it will only take a few more months to reach beta. I mean, they're not gonna be on alpha for a year, right? So it makes sense for a 2012 release. :D
That's my assumption.

You only shy away when you can't play with the big boys. Something tells me tomb raider will become an AAA title also. ;)

There is no "probably". It IS a AAA title and it always has been.

Even when it had poor sales compared to the other AAA titles?

The term "AAA game" refers to the production value of the game and stuff like how much it gets promoted. I think the sales are irrelevant.

Going by that definition, ya I'd say tomb raider was always an AAA title.

Exactly what I said. :)

Oh okay. I guess it was just a lousy AAA title for the past few years :p

I was agreeing with you...
Even when it had poor sales compared to the other AAA titles?
It had Poor sales Unfortunately but only in the first weeks of Launch... but it was only Underworld which had that Problem with sales and The Biggest thing that caused this was the Excessive amount of Videogames coming in that year near the same date and that that TR Game didn't offer something new for the fans it was more like a Sequel to Legend and Anniversary a Legend part 2 so it didn't offer much Intrigue for ppl that weren't fans of the game at all. Also this new TR Looks more fresh and lots of ppl have been impressed especially after GOL. SO probably the new game will have Lots of more sales compared to Underworld or any other TR Game. And actually i can tell you that Call of Duty if it doesn't change that annoying Formula it has kept for more than 5 years it will fail someday... Sooner or Later they will run out of Bullets :p and COD Will stop being a AAA Title just like other titles have failed with their every year releases i was giving an example above. So with what we have seeen of TR So far it sounds very Promising, More promising than ever i'd dare to say. And it will be a AAA Title once again followed by successful Sales just like the old days :wve:
