Sound problem
Hello
I finished the level and tested it is okay except for the fact that 2 objects lack the sound. MISSING SOUNDS: The creaking of the door that opens with the Crowbar is missing The sound of when Lara pushes a Pushable_Objectx is missing QUESTION: is there anyone who can help me solve these 2 problems? Let me know. Hi Franky |
I'd start from updating your sound card driver. And make sure the speaker system you use correpond to your sound settings in Windows. For example similar issue may happen if you use 2.1 speaker system, but in the settings it's set to 5.1 - and as a result some of the sounds in games may be missing.
In my experience this also happened once on a cheap motherboard with a bad integrated sound chip. |

Hi Franky |
I have a feeling this thread belongs to the Level Editor section and has nothing to do with TR2013. :p

Ahah. I love this particular moment when Lara opened the door not with the axe but the crowbar, so Classic !!

Most likely possible causes: the sounds are in the wrong format (in case you are using custom sounds) or the sounds are not assigned to the wad.
These tutorials might be of help. :) From our tutorials section: Setting up sounds for TRLE (video): https://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?t=223409 Sound issues: https://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?t=79194 No sound, missing sound, wrong pitch?: https://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?t=128465 |

I tried to set up a trigger with ,PlayAudio’ but it didn’t work. |
AkyV said something about that in the general chat thread today. :D

How do you loop an audio using TRNG? When I trigger audio 098, or 096, it isn't looped. :(
With flipeffect "Sound (CD)" triggers to play simply choose "loop" in the trigger parameters. Using old CD trigger in TRNG - you can't.
|
Ah ok, stupid me :D:hea:
