They wouldn't do a render so similar to the first one, true, but this might simply be a snippet of a new render. I don't think it is because it looks more like a painting but it is a possibility.

Well, it's meant to be some competition prize, so it's a secret until the comp is ready. Maybe it's a new render or a new in game pic as suggested it could be. Whatever, it all goes along with the 'strategy' of not revealing anything until the time is right. But then you could ask, why bother sharing a pixelated pic?
