I want something visual from the game.

It has to be a visual. HAS TO BE.

I wonder if they will actually do something on Feb 14?
It's old Lara's bday, and since they're rebooting, they might not.... :(

I think they said Lara's birthday is still 14th Feb. Oh my God, why would they change it? She is still Lara Croft. Not the old one indeed, but still...

To be honest, she never was much of an Aquarius anyway.... :/

I can't believe there's only ten days until the biggest disappointment since last year's Games Con.

We need chocolate calendars each year a TR is announced.

Something to keep us going when all seems lost.

It's moments like these, when all I'm worried about is when I'm going to see some TR - that make me realize how nice and easy life can be. <3

I still can't comprehend the idea of actually getting any sort of information in ten days, whether it be the VA announcement or a countdown to the VA announcement.

Don't speak those words!!!

Lukass 06-02-12 03:52

I dun want it to be some ****ing countdown :-/

I always eat the chocolate calendar in one sitting. That wouldn't work for me.

I go through multiple calendars and then loose count.

At least I won't be let down! Who needs the product of a positive attitude when I can just wait for that of the negative, which would never be as good as the positive no matter how doom and gloom my outlook?!

When you'll be like 20 or so you'll find out that even if you were let down, it doesn't hurt that much. It's always better to think positively. It's called law of attraction. If you want something and you believe it, it will happen :D

I'm sure you're right... this TR will be a total flop, and if I tell myself that, I won't be let down. :tmb:

I was just making fun of and impersonating pessimists.

But truthfully, I don't even care enough right now to channel the whole "Here it comes bitches!"...IDK why...:/

But I'm sure of course we'll learn something new and exciting in February. :D

:vlol:

I haven't lost interest in the game itself, but in the media campaign.

I've begun to rationalize with a principle that perhaps CD don't know they're showing off, and that is the idea that all of the content in the game is actually important.

Although TRU was the only TR campaign I have been Internet-present for, I feel as thought perhaps there is a history of traditional and repetitive game campaigns which may have desensitized fans to some of the game's content.

So it became expected to learn this piece of information at this stage and it meant nothing, but without it all Hell would break loose.

From my memory, most of the games I have enjoyed the most have been the ones which I have known little about, and the experience unwrapped before me as I played. That's what I want with this game.

I see. TRU was the only TR campaign I have been Internet-present for too. But I didn't know that TRF does exist.
I also know you wanted to leave TRF till June :p

I was gone until June for an afternoon of Tomb Raider Legend, but then I accidentally came back without realizing.

It'll be a hard habit to break.

I was considering it...and if me staying until then doesn't become fruitful in the near future I would try again, but I can't say I'd be successful.

By 'fruitful', do you mean positive?.. or "A good thing"?

I think I'm getting off topic. :pi:

Lukass 06-02-12 04:26

TRF without larafan25 would be like a sea without water lol...that's won't happen!

What if Julian missed anything? Ohgaaawd...would be end of the world.

larafan25 06-02-12 04:27

^I somehow always miss things initially, it seems. I'll pick one time and suddenly do something different which my "schedule" and then BAM! News hits!

If something good doesn't come of it, such as TR media. :pi:

Of course I have other obligations here too, such as the writing comp which we're going to win. :mis:

I don't see this turning out well. :pi:

Lukass 06-02-12 04:30

lol me too. I was certainly the last person who saw the GI cover :-//

larafan25 06-02-12 04:33

I saw the GI cover at school, luckily I had my computer programming class and got to see the image of Lara as a small icon of about 100 pixels, and I remember thinking "Passion of the Christ?".

Lukass 06-02-12 04:36

I saw it when I left work. I switched on my phone and then I saw it. I thought she has a short hair and I just couldn't believe it's Lara Croft. I was soooo shocked. I didn't know if I should be happy or pissed.

I was soo happy they kept her short hair until someone pointed out the ponytail trailing behind her. ;/

You lie.

skylark1121 06-02-12 04:42

Talk about controversy if they would have made it short. D:

Nope. I liked the short hair from the leaked concepts, and I think it would have been cool if it wasn't even in a ponytail. It's a younger Lara after all, I'm fine with it.

Controversy which should have been done with after the leaked concepts.

Lukass 06-02-12 04:51

OMG she looks so different when the image is mirrored....

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7018/6...a209f65a_b.jpg

Show me that scene CD!

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7008/6...420f0588_z.jpg

larafan25 06-02-12 04:52

I've already mirrored so many shots just to pretend they're different.

Lukass 06-02-12 04:59

Do you think the voice acting of all characters is all done and finished at the moment as well as the game?

_Awestruck_ 06-02-12 05:04

They've probably done all of that but I doubt it's final. They'll probably redo stuff they don't like and whatnot.

Lukass 06-02-12 05:08

^ That's what I think too.

I would guess that they're all finished now, as they've said the main content of the game is completed.
