they are just unfair. thats it. the game industry is getting just worse. the whole dlc thing was one thing but those preorder ****exclusives are just work of the devil. you just cant win. youll miss out on too much. even if its something small. a real fan wants to be able to get everything. i dont care about comics or things like that but the whole ingame stuff....

I can almost guarantee pre-order ingame exclusiveness are never anything to squander over. They're not anything special and you probably won't even miss them. :p

Exactly. It looked nice, but it took about 2 minutes and all you do is walk/climb to the top of the temple and grab a sword. Woopty do. That's why I'm leaning more towards the Best Buy preorder. I would much prefer to have the comic book and a skin as apposed to a short simple tomb that offers little to no challenge or fun. But hey, it could be different with Tomb Raider, but considering its a side tomb, I'm thinking it probably won't be much different.

It was one of the things I was most excited for D: Is it really a disappointment?


On topic, I think everybody in here considers the amount of different pre-orders incentives unnecessary and confusing, like SpyrosMonster said. Really, what's their goal in making a ton of different pre-order exclusives?

To lock in sales. If people see a pre-order that they like they're more likely to pre-order the game. AC3 was the first game I ever pre-ordered and I'm doing it for Tomb Raider too, so it's working. :p

Well, if they have the same offers for each retailer or none at all, people won't want to buy it from a certain place. I guess it's just an attempt to increase sales for each retailer.

I don't have a problem with them, as I don't care about having everything. I don't understand the multiple versions of the Collector's Edition, though. It's so confusing trying to figure out which regions are getting what. It doesn't help that GameStop doesn't list the score CD in the CE...

My question is what kind of exclusive is a faster climbing animation. I mean what the hell.
