I watched a friend of mine playing TR9 yesterday, the first time I've seen someone who isn't me playing the game :eek:
I LOL'd heartily while watching him stumble about in the Mountain Village hub like a fool, trying to find the wolf den. He said he likes the exploring stuff but doesn't like the gun stuff much. When I left his place he was just working his way towards the radio tower and the first proper battles in & around the bunker and the base. He probably won't play much past that if he doesn't like the gunfights :pi:

That's probably its biggest obstacle. A movie after one popular game seems like hubris to me, especially if the writing mimics TR9. Still, it'd be their money they're wasting, not mine. |
