Gurl, Sam's right eye was like a beacon of hope for all people with imperfections out there. Without it - the world is dark and full of ridicule and hate for all things imperfect. CD had the chance to change this but they fell at the final hurdle. It's a cruel world. A cruel and bitter world indeed. :(
