I love what they did.
A look with a character like Lara is very important. I’m glad to see being portrayed more in media with games like Brawhalla and their TR collab and now this new app.

Yup exactly. It's her design, of course it's important. You're looking at the character for the whole game. If the character doesn't have those elements, it's not that character. Simple as.

Im sry but i cannot get hyped over a microtransaction filled mobile game, which this will be if its free to play.

Because, for some of us, the past years of Croft haven't exactly inspired any confidence.

I’m not saying her design isn’t important. It is. I’ve wanted her iconic design back for ages and I think it not returning at the end of Shadow was a HUGE missed opportunity.

But gameplay is also important. So far there’s 0 evidence as to what this game is aside from the fact that she has two guns and shorts and a ponytail.

How does the game actually play? What do you do?
All of those are important. Not just Lara’s design. I’m cautiously optimistic, but the devs other games are kinda crappy.

We just have to wait and see. I don't know why, but my instinct tells me to have faith because something we didn't expect is around the corner. I think they understand how important this is and will come through.

Like Lara says, "I can feel it"

So I just came back onto the forum after a little while and, out of the corner of my eye, misread the thread title as "Tomb Raider Reloaded cancelled" for a sec.

I thought "wow that was quick" :vlol:

Is the reaction so negative they might just say **** it and cancel the whole thing? I mean I'm open-minded about trying this game 100%, I'll play it, I just want more than this.
