We can't swim but we can wade in the water, so it's quite possible we may be able to float on top, just not go under and swim.

This was said? Where, why did I miss this? :/

Some ppl round here Said we can't go Underwater because Karl said that that was not part of the experience he wanted to deliver we will not be able to get Underwater but we can swim under the surface. And yes maybe like that floating on top just like Assassin's Creed. @Lukass your Right it could be a bit Lame to Explore the Ships without going Underwater to check for goodies or items and being able to see what is inside, But sadly CD has cut that off :(

We CAN swim. We 'just' won't be able to dive.

Oooh, float on top. How exciting. :p I don't even see the point of that. I understand wading on water like in the E3 demo, but why would you wade in the ocean if it doesn't lead anywhere? Either way, there has to be an invisible wall to stop you from going too far. You see, pointless.

There doesn't have to be an invisible wall, you assume the worst.

There could be currents which push you around in the waves, dragging you back.

Just like in TR4^ (Alexandria, Temple ruins level) or you could drown if you go too far just like in GTAIV or u could be eaten by a shark :p

What difference would that make then? That's basically putting up "realistic" invisible walls. Look, what I'm trying to say is that I don't think CD will let you go into bodies of water, especially the ocean, for no good reason.

^Is finding a Key or some Hidden Relics, Weapons and Tools inside the Sunken boats in the ocean enough of a Good reason for you? for me it is a very Good reason.... it could have been better Though.
