I expected they'd add hype to their big E3 reveal. Doesn't seem like they are, unless some of these magazines are being given small amounts of new information to reveal. Who knows, but IMO it's disappointing to see no hype build up. I mean, sure, the (possible) pre-E3 gameplay trailer will capture a lot of hype, but building up to it just seems a better idea.

Do they even plan on advertising TR at all? :confused:

I really hope they have some good marketing plans, because what they're doing now is pretty sad.

At the moment I doubt they'll reveal anything before E3. It seem like the game doesn't exist anymore. I still don't get their strategy. All the big games studios are building hype, as it's the highest time, except Crystal Dynamics. We might get the gameplay trailer 31st May, but that doesn't make much more difference. 5th June or 31st May? It doesn't matter really.

And the game will probably release a little while after E3 and that's not really a lot of time to advertise, build hype, get people interested. Most people who aren't fans of TR have probably forgotten about it and went on to other games that are actually releasing news.

i myself are kinda feel random about their strategy but if all things gonna end up good then Good for them and for us coz at least we didn't get fed of so many spoilers etc like underworld and its millions of vignettes and things lol

if their E3 presentation end up Good then it will built hype more than any other Games to be release this year
notice their first E3 presentation? its was a surprise to so many people because they are clueless and its a good thing

Ugh. My PS3 fans know that I am a TR fan. I get so embarrased when they ask "is there new news yet?". All of them, seriously all of them liked the E3 presentation, but right now they have forgotten everything and they moved on to Max Payne and whatnot.

You see, I just know that I will be loving this game....

But the lack of news and hype makes me think like: "What if it sucks?". I should be full of hype instead of thinking that way, but I can't help myself with the lack of news. I seriously wish Crystal luck.

E3. COME HURR GURL.

The TRU vignettes started after E3, we had less for TRU at the same time of the year than we have for the reboot. We did not get the teaser trailer for TRU till just before E3, we had no gameplay footage till E3, and there had only been one round of magazine articles running from Dec 2007 to Feb 2008. We have got a lot more for the reboot, just as we will probably get a lot more after E3. A reboot needs more hype than a normal game in a long running series. There will be plenty of spoilers before the game is released. They cannot show the game off without showing spoilers, it is up to the fans if they want the game spoiled or not.

I truly think people will get interested again come E3 2012. They'll be reminded of how awesome it is.
