Continuing on with the "post something interesting" tread I wanted to start in the Mature Section...

The Mature section gets to see Waterfalls. You guys get a Harbour.

Last Weekend, me and my wife were at Frenchman's Bay in the town of Pickering. The place is pretty much a Marina Town with Frenchman's Bay acting like a small Marina Hub with small businesses and a Beach.

Comment if you see it :p.

And here is something really cool. This is the HMCS Haida, a Legendary Canadian Destroyer that served in WW2, The Korean War and the Cold War:

This looks lovely for the summer. I love places that have some kind of water, whether it's coastal, a river or a lake. I think it gives places such character. Maybe because I live 100 miles from the nearest beach (I was there the other day) and my city has no major rivers, it's a novelty for me.

@Daniel thank you! Also you know I'm only ever a message away if you want to chat, no need to miss me haha

Took this one last night. Had a meal with some friends from work (carefully controlled because of the virus) but it felt so good to get out and have a life again.

Glad you liked the pictures. Yeah, living lakeside has its benefits; Especially during the Summer time. Now mind you, you will curse to high heavens when winter comes along but its a small price to pay IMO :p.

And how many people mistook you for a German for wearing that Iron Cross :p?

It's a Maltese cross :) I wear it every day in memory of my Dad, whose family were from Malta.

The German Cross is a bit different, it's a cross pattée, not got the 8 "points" and it resembles a templar/crusader cross more. This cross is also related to the knights historically but the shape is a relatively more recent development and a symbol of Malta these days.
