Well the skulls are placed as opposed to lying around like they would be in the wolf's den (even though a body has been tied up in there too).

What I mean is every object has a reason for being there.

Who knows...There are skeleton bones all over the ground in some areas, so maybe they're just left there? To dry up the place? IDK. :/
