I assume that's official because of the website. Crystal need to have a word with their branding department, they're putting the TR name to pointless, irrelevant tat.

I recall the irish guy (sorry, I don't recall the name) saying they were not putting TR and LC on brands who didn't feel part of the universe. After some things, I wouldn't be surprised to see toilet paper with TR printed on it.

Even that, using twisted logic, would make some kind of sense. Having toilet roll when you're stranded on an island is probably quite a luxury. A skateboard though? It's like they're subconsciously advertising TR1 by accident.



Anyway, on an unrelated note...

That's from Eurogamer, their review of The Last of Us. It's like they did everything but mention TR9 by name, especially the first sentence. I bet it's really pissing Crystal off :p

I can't choose between the first and second myself tbh. I like how ...clean, and basic the first face is. It's not overly "feminine", and it evokes the fierceness and youth of this new Lara. I kind of wish they had made her look more like that concept in game.

Though I love how exotic she looks in the second, which is weird because the first time I saw that I thought she looked more boy-ish which I liked.

For classic Lara it was okay (Though, thinking about AoD, I'd say she was supposed to have them), but new Lara looks weird without them.

This, and I prefer the 2nd face.

TBH I think AOD Lara would have looked weird with more of a fringe.

I stole the bow from the final concept Lara (with the CG face on it). I think I scaled it close enough.

Because it's a horrible review. The guy can't even pronounce her name right and his complaints are nitpicks that shouldn't bring down the score that much.

Yaaah... No. There were some legitimate complaints in that review, and his mispronunciation of her name is hardly relevant. :p

I don't like reboot Lara in shorts.

She looks a bit off in shorts doesn't she :p. She's the most realistic Lara to date and yet shorts just don't suit her. it's not her legs, they're fine :p.

She'd look fine if the 'shorts look' was done properly :p

The images I saw on this forum were either poorly photoshopped or they showcased an actual 3D model edit, still poor at that though.

I'm sure that if CD wanted, they could make the look work, I don't think they are bringing shorts back anytime soon, unfortunately.

Shorts in the style of Elena from Uncharted would be best suited, in my opinion.

Lara needs to look more mature and needs to have some of her iconic features back. I swear I could barely recognize her, but she looks great for this game.

I have to admit I am not buying the "this is a reboot, WE (CD) decide who Lara is and what she looks like now so YOU (fans) should pretty much forget everrything that made her iconic in the first place" crap, but some people seem to be fine with it, so...

^I think she should eventually, seriously acquire a backpack. She's eventually going to have gloves, I'm sure. Not sure about dual holsters.

Oddly enough, Lara's backpack is her most iconic feature for me. I loved The Last Revelation reveal of how she got it. It holds a very dear place in my heart I must admit: more than her hair, eye colour, big *****, shorts or dual pistols.

She looks 12 in shorts.

I would agree. The packpack makes all the difference. It says "Adventure" over "action".

Has no one modded TR? Like they did with the trilogy? I just expected that by now. A classic outfit the first thing to be done. :p
