I loved the image we got from the first film. It was simple and true to what we got as a game.

We got this young beautiful tom boish girl (angelina) hanging upside down on a rope on a practical short outfit and boots with two guns holstered on each side as she fliped down into the temple below and ran
she entered a new room and proceded slowly with her hands near her guns all sexy and stuff and then we see shes after some mystic crystal on a shrine and she can acrobatically and militarilly defend herself...with style

This explorer is following her fathers name. Her father was tougth lost on an expedition. We see he taught her a lot of weird stuff in the field when little but she loved and was fascinated by his storys of ancient unvisited temples and always wanted to go with him.

i sometimes feel we didnt need that extreme back step on her life
that rigth there was LaraCroft period.
but the same could be aplied to this new reboot in some other way
but i feel some stuff will mislead or the game legnth could affect what we get ;/

I like their YAMATAI ?HMIKo part of the story
maybe she was driven in some way to change the course of the expedition for an more exiting one
and this is LAra croft to me :D just to whiney
and she curses now :P
